Into the Storm

Chapter Three

Jake ran after Dany but Dany kept fast walking towards the car in the rain.
It was dark now and the only light source was the lamppost, which didn't make Jake happy.

"Dany please wait up!" Jake called after her, barely recognizing her petite body run through the rain. "That girl was a jerk!"

Dany didn't slow down.

But she didn't know where Jake parked the car. "Where's the car?" She yelled over the pouring rain.
She saw Jakes shadow point to the left so she walked that way.

When she got to the car, she quickly put the bags in the trunk.

"Jake!" she said, "Come on I just wanna leave!"

She turned around to find Jake no where. She could hardly see anything which made it worse. "Jake!"

Out of nowhere Jake rushed to her and told her to get in the car.
"Get in, get in!" he said worryingly.

"Jake I just-"

"Get in the car now!" Jake yelled.

Dany was taken back by his outrage and shivering, sat in the passenger seat.
Jake started up the car and before he even got on the highway Dany could tell he was speeding.

"Why are you speeding?" Dany said to him, "Theres no rush to get home."

"Yes there is." Jake said stepping on the gas pedal harder.

"Jake!" Dany cried, "You're going way over the speed limit slow down!"
Dany was super worried about Jake and wondered why he was speeding.

"Dany I saw something in the ocean!"

"What did you see? What so important your going 60 mph?!" Dany yelled hands pressed against the car handle.

"I saw a small tsunami forming!"

When the words left his mouth Dany shivered.

Flashback

"Taylor take Danielle and run! Run as fast as you can!" Their father yelled.

"Daddy I don't know where to go!" Taylor cried to her father.

"Follow the police, get in their car and you and Danielle will be safe." he said to the 3 year old Taylor.

She was carrying a 2 year old Danielle who had no clue what was going on. She ran out of her house as fast as she could, to the red and blue flashing cars. The police let her in and she looked back to her parents in their house.

.
She carried Dany up a path with the police officers and watched the city get destroyed by fast moving water.
Her and Dany with hundreds of other people just watch.
But it didn't include their parents.

"What's happening?" Taylor asked and elder man.

"Get ready kid. Were gonna have to rebuild for the rest of our lives." he said staring at the overflowing city

End of flashback

"Jake we have to get Taylor." Dany said worried and scared. "We have to warn people and-"

"There's no time, we have to go to east Ravenflakes. We'll be safe there. But I agree we very quickly get Taylor."

.
They rush inside the house and Dany pushes Taylor's door open. Taylor looks up in surprise and Dany grabs her arm.

"What the hell are you doing?" she asks Dany

"I'll explain in the car, please." Dany begs.

Dany doesn't convince Taylor and she pushes her away. "Dany just leave me alone I have homework."

Dany started to cry. Real tears that shocked Taylor because Dany's once cried one other time, when she had to tell her how they're parents died.
Taylor looked at Dany with so much pity Dany, but Dany couldn't stop.

"P-Please Taylor." Dany had tears running down her face. "We have to go."

Taylor got up and put her laptop down. She went up to Dany and hugged her. And tried to sooth her down.

Jake ran in.

"Guys we have-" he stopped mid sentence, looking at the scene in front of him. "Guys I'm sorry but we really have to go!"

"I know lets go." Dany wiped away her tears and Taylor and her ran down the stairs to the car.

Jake quickly grabbed his laptop and video camera, then ran to the car.

Hi guys!!! This chapter was sort of long so I'm sorry, and it was sort of a fill in chapter. Cause Taylor and Dany, you now know are sister. Speaking of Taylor, she is portrayed as Leona Lewis. I figured it out :)
