Someone Special

I thought it would be nice to walk to school with Daniel, so I decided to go to his place to see if he wanted to walk together. As I walk out the door, I see him, Freddy, and Nathan at the gate, about to walk out. I looked at the ground in disappointment. 

'Maybe next time,' I tell myself. I wait for them to walk out, then head to the gate. I opened it, and was on my way to school.

It was time for lunch, and I found a table to sit at. I saw Daniel heading my way, and he sat next to me. "Hey (Y/n)!" 
"Hey Daniel." I said with a small smile. 
"I see you brought your own lunch today." I said with a laugh. 
"Yeah, I did." Daniel smiled. 

"Aye! LaRusso!" Freddy and Nathan came to the table and sat down. I internally rolled my eyes.
'Great, I'm gonna be the invisible man again.' 
"Hey guys!" Daniel said. 
"Hey (y/n)." They said.
"Hola," I put on a fake smile.

They begin talking about girls, what they were going to do after school, and soccer. I got tired of sitting there, so I got up and walked to the restroom. I sat in a stall, waiting for the bell to ring.
I really thought that Daniel and I would be able to have some time together. 

The bell rang twenty-minutes later, and I walked out of the stall and went on with the rest of my day.
