Chapter 10: Departure to Lortia

Hey Guys and Girls. As I said in the skipable chapters, I am sorry I haven't updated in a while. But I will try to update regularly or as best as I can. What I did during my writers block though was redraw a few of my older drawings which I will now put into my books where the old ones were. I replace them in the story book but leave the older version in my drawings book so you can see the difference. Check it out if you want to.

So I hope you enjoy the new chapter and I will see you in the next one.

Also for those who haven't heard yet. I am going to cut Cry out of the story from now on since I really don't apprechiat what he did. It might take a while but he will be more in the background until I find the moment to kick him out completely.

Until the next update.

Caro :D

Mark POV

I was laying peacefully with Jack in our bed under our soft blanket when the first rays of sunshine of the new day managed to shine into our room through the slits between the curtains. A slight groan came from my fiancé, who tried to escape the bright light by burying his face more in my chest. I carefully opened my eyes and held my soulmate closer to me while rubbing his back gently. Exhausted I looked over to our alarm clock and sighed. //Ugh... It is way too early to get up//, shot it through my head and I snuggled even closer to Jack. My fiancé smiled faintly and pressed his face to the back of my neck to get more comfortable. A chuckle escaped my lips and I started to move my fingers sweetly through his messy hair. My soulmate sighed softly and leaned into my touch. We stayed like that for a while until our alarm clock finally rang loudly. Jack groan again and tried to block out the sound by holding his pillow over his head. Amused I turned to the noise maker and turned it off before sitting up with a stretch.

"Jack. It really is time to get up now. We're leaving today for our mission.", did I say to my soulmate while smiling softly at his form. My fiancé pulled slowly the pillow away from his head and looked over at me with tired eyes before answering me: "Five more minutes please." At that answer I had to laugh hard for a few seconds and got up from our warm bed afterwards. "If you want to, that's fine with me. But you will then have to explain to our friends the reason we will arrive later then we agreed to.", I told Jack plainly and walked to our closet to get myself clean clothes. A few seconds later I heard the bed creak and suppressed a grin. My soulmate then stood next to me and grabbed some clothes of his. After we finished getting dressed, Jack slipped into the bathroom while I continued walking towards the kitchen to prepare breakfast for us both. After a few minutes I heard a groan, which came from the couch in the living room. Curiously, I looked towards that direction and was slightly surprised. On the couch were laying our Demon Sides, which seemed to have just woken up. Both had a tired expression on their faces and slowly sat up.

With a slight grin I asked: "What did you guys do last night, when you were out on your own? You look pretty exhausted to me." Anti rubbed his neck and had a slight blush on his cheeks but seemed to ignore my question. "A lot. We just had a great time together.", explained Dark and sat up straighter to stretch his body. I had a feeling in my stomach that they were hiding something from me though. However, I couldn't ask any more questions, since right before I opened my mouth, Jack finally came out of the bathroom and joined us. My soulmate looked at the two Demon Sides on our couch and suddenly had one of the biggest grins, I have ever seen, on his face. Confused I looked at my fiancé and followed his gaze towards our second halves. Jack then stepped over to them and said, still with the grin on display: "Wow, you actually managed to go through with it." Anti blushed a darker shade of red at that and pouted with a pissed of look in his eyes. "What are you getting at with that, Jack?", rolled it over his lips annoyed. My fiancé laughed lightly as I walked over too now since breakfast was nearly finished. Still confused but curious I waited for what was going to come next.
