(Y/n) was born and raised in the dark world. Though she never really met her parents and was raised by basically everyone in the card castle to become a royal guardian.
Then the king of spades imprisoned the other three kings and made another dark...
"Welcome. I am the prince of this kingdom... The kingdom of darkness...."
Kris's POV.
"Welcome. I am the prince of this kingdom... The kingdom of darkness.... And this over here is my royal guard and right hand guide."
The mentioned person bowed to us in a greeting but didn't say anything.
Kris, Susie... There's a legend in this land. A legend that one day, two heroes of light will arrive and fulfill the ancient prophecy, foretold by time and space. Please, heroes... Listen to our tale..."
The figure paused for a moment. Neither me nor Susie said anything, but I was kinda curious, so I only nodded, silently telling him to continue.
"Very well then..."
He turned his head towards the slightly taller hodded person, standing behind/beside him. They nodded back before taking a step forward and held out their hands. I noticed that they wore a black fingerless glove on the left hand but not on the right. 'Oh, so that glove I found earlier belongs to them. I'll make sure to return it as soon as I can. But first... Story time, I guess.'
Suddenly, something similar to mist or a cloud came from their fingertips. Me and Susie took a step back, not knowing what that was about but then the cloud bundled right in front of us and formed the silhouette of a castle. The prince then started speaking again.
"Once upon a time, a legend was whispered among shadows. It was a legend of hope. It was a legend of dreams. It was a legend of light. It was a legend of dark. This is the legend of deltarune."
At the last sentence the cloud formed a weird simbol that kinda looked like an angel. I glanced over to Susie and saw her yawning. Looks like she's bored, as always. 'Wow, rude. Even if this show is a bit extra, this is clearly important for them. At least pretend that you're paying attention.'
Then the figures magic shifted to two figures. One that looked close to a human and another one, which I couldn't assign.
"For millenia, light and dark have lived in balance, bringing peace to the world."
In the split of a second, the figures shattered into two, startling both me and Susie.
"But if this harmony were to shatter... A terrible calamity would occur."
The image turned to a landscape that showed an apocalyptic scene. The ground seemed to burst open, there were lightning shooting from the sky and in the middle of it, was that angel symbol again.
"The sky will run with terror. And the land will crack with fear. Then, her heart pounding, the earth will draw her final breath."
'Wow, this is getting kinda dark...' I realized as that image slowly faded away, a desert-like landscape replacing it.
"Only then, shining with hope... Four heroes appear at the world's edge."
I could make out four shadowy figures appearing in the horizon, a bright fountain behind them. The taller hooded figure gently moved their hands upwards, creating another image.

Author's Note I added this after the book was finished. And sadly, it didn't fit horizontal, so it's depicted vertikal.
"A human, a monster, a prince from the dark, and a young youth of the light.
Four silhouettes started to appear one by one. Silhouettes of which the first two of them looked exactly like me and Susie at the moment. The other two though... I wasn't quite sure. The third one looked like a wizard and the fourth one resembled a girl, having her back turned towards us but I could make out a bow and arrow in her hands.
The mist changed to the four people standing around a fountain, again with the angel symbol.
"Only they can seal the fountains and banish the angel's heaven. Only then will balance be restored and the world saved from destruction."
The cloud disappeared for a moment to a point were I almost thought that the story was over but the person doing this magic trick took a deep breath and glanced towards the horizon, seemingly thinking of something while catching their energy before another image of a fountain was shown how it amerged from a castle that looked like this one. The story continued. But this time, a different voice started speaking. It was the voice of a girl coming from the hooded figure in front of us.
"Today, the fountain of darkness- The geyser that gives this land form- stands tall at the center of the kingdom. But recently, 9 years ago to be exact, another fountain has appeared on the horizon...
The scene slowly swerved to the right. Showing a second dark fountain. I noticed how the hands of the person doing this trick (who I was assuming was a girl, judging by the voice), were shaking. As if she didn't want to continue showing us this. But she continued anyway.
"And with it, the balance of light and dark begins to shift... And if not stopped, we're afraid that eventually the earth could not support it and collapse in itself."
With a sudded movement, the cloud collided in itself, creating a wave of wind, slightly moving my bangs. She took her hands down and stepped back to where she stood before, slightly behind the prince. Me and Susie were in shock.
"Kris, Susie... Thank you for listening to our long tale."
'Hey, no problem. This is way more interesting than history class.
"We deeply believe you two are the heroes of the legend. That despite whatever enemies you may face... You two have the courage to save the world. Delta Warriors! Please, won't you accept your destiny...?"
I was a bit too overwhelmed to answer right away. I tilted my head down to the ground in thought. 'If that what they're saying is true, then the entire world's fait depends on us and those other two people, who I assume are the two hooded figures in front of us.'
Susie turned her head to the side, facing away from all of us. For the three of us, it looked like she was deep in thought. But I knew better. "Uhhh... Nah." '-sigh- I knew it. Still as uninterested as ever.' I couldn't help but slightly glare at her from the corner of my eye. I mean, those two seemed to have put a lot of effort in telling us this. And it wasn't an unimportant matter too.
The other two were taking aback by that blunt answer. "W...What?" The prince stuttered. He must have thought that we both would enthusiastically cheer or something. "Me? Some kind of hero or something...? You've got the wrong person."
The prince's guard stepped forward, clearly upset. Her hands were balled to fists and she was stomping her foot on the ground. 'Oh I wonder how that pose would look like without that big cape on. I bet she's pouting right now.' I may not know how she looks like yet but that image was enough for a smile trying to tuck at my lips but I managed to stop it from happening.
