"She said yes" Steve danced as he announced the exciting news to Natasha. "Wow so this is your first date since 1945" Nat teased "no" he lied "yes" he answered shortly after.
"I'm sure you'll do great" Nat said patting his shoulder as she walked away. The realisation set in for Steve and his usual fearless self grew a little worrisome.
I watched the little interaction from a distance and walked over to Steve "there's nothing to worry about" I reassured "it'll be like a normal friendly dinner date except this time we aren't just friends" I said.
Steve grew a little shy as he realised I had heard everything but nonetheless I had melted away his worries.
