"What can I get you," I asked smiling at the scrawny man who took a seat at that bar "I could start with you" he smirked and my smile faltered, so it was gonna be like that. "What can I get you to drink?" I asked emphasizing the word drink.
"Still you darling," he said leaning forward "sorry I can't help you with that sir, if you would not like a drink I'm going to have to ask you to leave," I said having the line basically rehearsed by now.
He scoffed mumbling curses and slurs at me. I saw Erik getting angry in the corner ready to approach, he looked at me and I shook my head no as the man made his way out of the bar. Erik was always ready to save the day and I loved that about him.
