Sofia Milan Chavicci

"Wait, wait, wait. You're telling me they robbed an entire weapons and drugs terrorist operation shipment in front of ten guards without being seen and leaving any evidence whatsoever?"

"Yes."

"And you are asking me for any ideas?"

"Yes because I'm stuck and in need of a fresh perspective."

"Who went with you to the place you were supposed to pick it up?"

"Basilio, Fiaro, Luca, Remo, Celia, and I all went."

"Do you trust them all to be telling you the truth? Are you sure that none of them found any evidence?"

"Luca is pretty dead set on Remo since he's new. I'm not entirely convinced, but it is a good point. He has been interested in every part, asking thousands of questions, and becoming great friends with you all in the past twenty-four hours. Everything started to happen when he showed up."

"He could also just be at the wrong place at the wrong time."

"He could be. He might just be a good, nice, and truthfully interested person who wants to know what we do around here."

"And you don't want to bring any other members into this?"

"Valentina, Emelia, Agustin, and Ettore are in as well. But I don't want to make this a problem for other members for their safety, and they need to keep up with all the other stuff we have to do for the benefit of this world."

"Who else could have known, besides the people in the government and your immediate team, about the shipment?"

"Anyone in this building could have found out the information, but we tend to keep things separate. If someone is kidnapped and blabs, they don't know everything so our whole operation isn't in danger. I don't think anyone besides my immediate team would even care or have time to care with the other things they need to do."

"So, if someone were on the inside, they would be in your team?"

"Do you think someone is on the inside?"

"Someone broke in without leaving evidence and facing ten guards. Why would ten guards agree to let a stranger in?"

"They wouldn't."

"They wouldn't. So it has to be someone they know and trust to let them see the shipment. If the only people that knew about it were in your team, it has to be on the inside. Either they stole it in helping the Russians or told the Russians about it and helped them steal it. Right? That's the only way it makes sense to me?"

"So anyone on my team could be guilty."

"If they have a strong enough motive. They wouldn't just betray you and help the Russians for no reason. Does anyone stand out to you?"

He stays silent for a minute, thinking about the possible motives each person has. Eventually, we rule out the three women. Valentina, Emelia, and Celia. He hasn't done anything to hurt them, at least not that he knows of. None of them have ever felt romantic attraction more than just the platonic business relationship they have.

Money isn't an issue for any of them, and they have voluntarily put themselves in the dangerous situations they do. He hasn't directly hurt any of their family members, doesn't even know their names, and he can't think of any other reason they would possibly want to hurt me, him, or the syndicate.

Next, we rule out Fiaro, Agustin, and Ettore. They are his most trusted advisors, have been with him since the beginning, and have only fought over little things. They are here voluntarily, could leave at any time with their families, and Agustin and Ettore aren't into money or power aspects of the job.
