Stretching her hands to reach out for the expected Lisa on the other side of the king sized bed, Jennie was greeted with the coldness. She flickered her eyes open and saw that the side where Lisa lay was bare. Jennie groaned before standing up and walking out of the masters bedroom.
Slowly walking down the stairs, Jennie heard a humming sound and she followed it to the kitchen. With the smell of freshly cooked waffles and the display of fruits on the table, she smiled seeing Lisa swaying her hips and humming with the background music playing on her phone.
Jennie giggled catching Lisa's attention as Lisa turned around and went near her wife, "Good morning, Mrs. Kim-Manoban." Lisa said.
"You weren't there when I woke up." Jennie pouted.
Lisa giggled and held on Jennie's hand as she placed it on her shoulders. She held on Jennie's waist as Jennie voluntarily snugged her face on Lisa's neck as they swayed their hips in sync to the music.
"Sorry, I was too excited to get up." Lisa said and placed a soft kiss on Jennie's shoulder.
"Are you excited?" Jennie asked as the music stopped and they removed themselves from the hug and kissed.
"Very. We are going to know if our little angel is going to spend his or her time in a pink onesies or blue ones." Lisa smiled.
Jennie's pregnancy turned four months three days ago, and with a go signal from their doctor, she has a schedule at ten later for the gender reveal.
"Are you sure you don't want to let Jisoo and Rosie know first so they can organise the gender reveal for us? Rosie said she's down with it." Jennie said.
"No, I'd prefer us telling them. But if you're down with it, we can." Lisa said.
"I'm down with whatever you want. So we are going there later, and know the gender of our angel. Then at lunch, we are going to tell everyone. Okay?"
"Okay." Lisa giggled and pressed her lips on Jennie's, "Come on. Let's eat. Your hot choco with added mallows is ready."
"Ugh, I miss coffee." Jennie groaned.
"No missy. No coffee for you. We're in this together, and no coffee for me too. So we are clinking mugs of choco today."
"As if you don't drink coffee on the office!" Jennie exclaimed.
"Shut up." Lisa laughed and helped Jennie with the food.

Entering the clinic, Jennie and Lisa held hands tight. Both very excited, and looking forward to knowing the gender of their baby.
"Good morning, Mrs. Kim-Manoban." the doctor said.
"Good morning, Dr. Yoon." Jennie said
"Are you both ready?"
"Very ready." Lisa giggled.
"Okay then. Can you please lay down, Jennie?" he asked and Jennie immediately lay down with Lisa reaching out to hold her.
As the doctor placed the gel on her slightly bumpy stomach, Jennie cringed at the coldness of it. When the device was now massaging it, a black and white image emerged on the monitor.
"Wow, the baby is very healthy." Dr. Yoon said.
"The mom is stubborn though." Lisa said while rolling her eyes.
"Are you both ready to know?"
"Yes please,"
He nodded before returning his attention to the monitor. Probably looking for the usual pregnancy signs that will tell him about the gender. It was silent for like five minutes, and Jennie was getting impatient.
