"Jennie Ruby Jane Kim-Manoban." Lisa said to the nurse on the front desk of the hospital.

"May I ask what's your relationship with the patient?"

"I'm her wife, goddammit. My wife is pregnant and she was involved in a car crash, the police said she's in here!" Lisa shouted.

The nurse said that she was still in the operating room. Lisa dashed and knowing she won't be able to go inside she sat on the floor outside of the room and curled herself to cry.

Her wife was just calling her and telling her she loves her and it all just took one minute before it all lead to this.

She wasn't sure what to do, so she reached for her phone and called for Rosie with trembling hands.

"What's up. Is unnie home already?" clueless Rosie asked.

"Seoul Hospital...Jennie — her car. Her car crashed. P-please come in here." Lisa said in between her sobs.

"What?! Oh my god. Okay, we're coming. Wait for us." Rosie said and dropped the call.

Lisa was shaking and she dropped her phone. She curled back and tears were streaming down her face. She was shaking and her mind was filled with all sorts of thoughts.

What if that was the last time she would hear from Jennie? From her wife.

Laryne.

Is Laryne okay? Is Laryne safe?

She was crying to herself and wishing that she just picked Jennie up. Like how it should be. She should've drove Jennie home. She should've stayed with Jennie. She shouldn't have went to work. She was blaming herself too bad.

She wasn't sure how long was she crying when she felt someone hug her. She looked up and saw Rosie with Jisoo and they were both crying as well.

"It's okay. She'll be okay. Jennie is strong." Rosie whispered.

"I should've picked her up. I should've —"

"This is not your fault." Rosie said, "She will be okay."

Lisa nodded before hugging Rosie and crying more into her shoulder. They stayed there for more minutes before Rosie helped her up and sat her on the chair. Jisoo came back with coffee on her hands and told Lisa to drink it.

Lisa took it from Jisoo and drank it. She will be needing this to stay awake and wait for Jennie. The surgery was taking too long and she was afraid of everything.

"Can you call everyone for me?" Lisa said.

"I will. I'll call your parents and hers." Jisoo said and excused herself to make the call.

Lisa layed her head on Rosie's shoulder and Rosie hugged her tight and kissed her head. She was cradling Lisa, who was still trembling.

Soon, V came running and was also crying. He sat beside Rosie. Jennie's dad came after straight from Daegu, and was on the phone with Jennie's mom. Lisa's parents told Jisoo they will be catching the next flight to Korea and Jennie's mom was now on NZ Airport.

Everyone was silent and crying. Lisa was ashamed at everyone. She felt like it was her fault and she wasn't a good wife, which caused all of this.

After six hours, it was now almost eleven in the evening, the doctor came out and everyone stood up.

"Jennie's family?" he said.

"Yes." Lisa whispered with a trembling voice.
