Chapter 13

It was a peaceful night at the Prince Palace. Everyone was in a deep sleep except for Levathian. He badly wanted to know what really happened in the past, as she doesn't really know anything about Lem.

So he decided to knock on Lem's door. Lem immediately opened the door using her mana.

"Lem, do you trust me?" Levathian asked her. He sat on the couch, trying not to look on Lem.

"I do.."

Levathian slowly turned around as if it was music to his ears. "Well then I have a lot of questions running through my mind and it's keeping me awake.." Levathian said.

"What do you want to know Lev?" They stared at each other. It was the first time Lem called her Lev.

"Anything you can share about.."

"Sure but.." Lem paused a bit.

"But?" Levathian feels like he can do anything she wanted in exchange of her information.

"Nothing, come sit beside me.."

Levathian sit in front of her. Levathian picked a pillow and placed it on Lem's legs as she's just wearing a huge shirt. It was Levathian's shirt.

Lem slowly lifted her hand and Levathian gently place his hand. Lem's hand where soft as if it has never experience any rough things in life.

"Close your eyes and don't open them until I say so.."

Levathian closed his eyes. It was filled with nothing but darkness but later on light and scenery starts to came into the darkness. As if he was entering someone's memories.

Levathian found himself in an ancient civilization. Where modernity is not a thing, freedom was nowhere.

Slaves where everywhere. Nobles where walking with their slaves.

The streets where dark and only fire was the source of light.

"She's a gift from god.." A man announced. And there was a little girl, dressed properly. In just one glance you can immediately conclude that she belongs to a wealthy family.

But unlike any other child, she wasn't allowed to go to the school. As her foster family believed she is mute.

As years passed by, Lem became more beautiful which made every lady in town envious of her. People started calling her witch or a vampire as she is pale as snow. It's also unusual as she has a jet black hair.

"I shall take care of her.."

"Thank you, you may go. Lem always listen to them okay?" A man said but behind those smiles where pure evil. Lem was sold to a bishop when the family knew that Lem was peculiar. She immediately became a valuable asset.

Without her knowing, earlier she was sold in an auction. As if she was a gem. And it was the bishop who won the action, taking Lem from her foster parents.

The young Lem doesn't know anything. All she knew was she's finally getting proper education for the first time that's why the Bishop took her.

The bishop took advantage of her. Manipulated her. Taught her things for his own greed.

The bishop was like a man who serve emperors. That if there is a problem that emperors wanted to address, he can immediately perform solution.

"Now Aclaethia. You know how to read right? Read this.." A nun said.

"T-The.." Lem started reading the words that was written by the bishop himself. "K-Kingdom o-of C-Celest-tia s-shall b-burn.." Lem uttered. She doesn't know that her words can came true.

Then her eyes suddenly turned red. Sending her mana to Burn the whole kingdom of Celestia. Then Lem would faint due to huge mana consumption.

It continued for years until he met a servant. The two became close to each other. For Lem He became Lem's older brother.

He was Auricio le Fremont Iwaizumi. A guy who can see a glimpse of the future every time he  dreams about it. He cannot control which part he can see. Only his unconscious mind reveals the future.

He saw the future where Lem will be in danger that's why he chose to became friends with her. But no matter how hard he tried her best to save Lem, Lem will enter eternal sleep no matter what.

For mass murdering almost half of the population. She is the one who was behind the mass murder however the bishop was the one manipulating her.

When the time the bishop will be caught in the act, he turned the table and made Lem take all the blame.

She was prisoned for a year. A 15 year old girl was cage in the dungeon with no water, no food, no sunlight. She was there for two years. She can only eat if she reads the words written by the bishop. The Bishop also threatened to kill her foster parents.

How did she survive without any food and water? It was because she was an immortal.

Lem realized that the bishop was manipulating her so she refused to utter any words.

Then the time came where she shall be executed for all the crimes that was blamed to her however she cannot die with swords. So the bishop concluded that she shall enter Eternal sleep as she is nothing but useless.

If she's alive, she might damage the Bishop's reputation.

For the first time Aurico and Lem talked through telepathy. It was Auricio who discover how to talk through their minds. It almost cost him 2 years before he successfully contacted Lem.

"Forgive me for I cannot save you. All of my dreams leads to where you were punished with eternal sleep.." Auricio was very sad. That his first love cannot be with him.

Auricio fell for Lem but Lem doesn't know how to love. But it was fine for him as he was not expecting anything in return.

"What do you mean?"

"But there was one dream where you woke up from eternal sleep.." Auricio said. He is was determined to make the whole dream came true. He put all his trust on that one dream where Lem made it out from this hell.

"I can see the future.." Auricio said. "I will have a son. And my son will have a son. And the son of my son will also have a son. In other words, a blood of Iwaizumi will help you out from this hell.."

"There will be a time where, he will be able to fulfill what I missed. And those where Letting you feel the warmth of a hand who cared for you..."

"Put your trust in him.."

"And return for him. He's waiting for you.." Auricio said and left. That was his role. To make the dream reach the future. And the future starts by him, Letting Lem enter eternal Sleep for a while.

And to marry a woman, he doesn't love. He sacrificed his everything for Lem.
