"Aurelia, hold still or you're going to get soap in your eyes." I huff as I become more and more irritated. Aurelia has been acting crazy all day. I'm trying to wash her hair and she won't stop squirming.

"Mom, hurry up!" She groans.

"Stay still and I will." I sigh.

Today is Aurelia's playdate with Kayla's daughter. She is so excited to be meeting someone new that she can hardly keep herself still for more than five seconds.

"Do you think she likes dolls?" Aurelia asks, squirming again.

"I would think so, stay still."

"What about Frozen? Do you think she likes Frozen? Or superheroes, like Daddy?" I couldn't help but smile at her words. Seb loves it when she calls him a superhero.

"Yes, honey. I bet she likes all those things. You have to remember, her mommy is dating Uncle Mackie, he is a superhero, too." I remind her and finally start rinsing the soap from her hair.

"I just want to have things to talk about." Aurelia sighs and I roll my eyes. She acts so grown up sometimes.

"Okay, I'm done. Lets get you dried off." I tell her and she stands up out of the water so I can dry her off.

Once Aurelia is dressed, I braid the top of her hair in two French braids then curl the bottom of her hair. She picks out a dark purple shirt and pairs it with a black skirt. She's pretty cute, but I could be biased.

"Have you talked to Daddy?" Aurelia asks me as we are tidying her room up.

"Nope, not yet. I'm sure the audition is going good, though." I say as I tuck the final corner of her sheets under her mattress.

Sebastian decided to go through with the audition. When he received the audition material, he loved it instantly. It didn't take much persuasion after that to convince him to go through with it. I was happy he was taking on another job. I know it will be a challenge to film this movie since he will be traveling to different places. The last movie was completely filmed here in New York, so this will be a whole new ball game for me.

I'm excited for him, truly. But, also nervous.

A knock at the door shakes me from my thoughts and I head out of Aurelia's room to answer it.

"Hey, ladies!" I smile as I greet Kayla and her daughter.

"Hey! How are you?" Kayla asks as I move to the side so they can enter.

"I'm great! How are you guys?" I ask.

"We are great!" Kayla smiles before looking down at the little girl beside her. "Madelaine, this is my daughter, Jayla."

"Hi, Jayla!" I smile as I crouch down to her height. "I've heard lots of good things about you from your mom." Jayla shyly smiles as she wraps an arm around her mom's leg.

"Where's Aurelia?" Kayla asks, laughing a bit at Jayla.

"Let me go grab her." I say and head toward Aurelia's room. "Hey, munchkin, your new friend is here!" Aurelia smiles widely and follows me back into the living room.

"Hi." Aurelia says, smiling as she waves at Jayla.

Jayla shyly waves back and Aurelia gives her a stuffed animal to play with. After carefully looking over the toy, Jayla lets go of her mom and begins to play with Aurelia. Kayla and I watch the girls as they introduce themselves. After a few minutes, Aurelia grabs Jayla's hand and they run into her room giggling.

"Well, looks like they are best friends now." Kayla laughs and I nod.

"So, catch me up on everything that I've missed in the last few days. How's the arm?" I ask Kayla and she fills me in on her latest check up with the doctor over her MMA injury.
