"Sebastian, stop." I laugh.
As soon as we got into the elevator of our building, Sebastian's hands had found my body and had yet to leave it.
"It's fine. No one is in here." He smiles while he looks around the elevator as if we were in an open room.
"We literally have our whole lives to jump each other's bones." Sebastian's hands hold my waist while his mouth finds the sensitive spot where my neck meets my shoulder. A quiet moan betrays me and the front I was trying to put up is torn down.
The elevator dings as the doors slide open and Sebastian sighs dramatically into my shoulder.
"Drama queen." I smirk as I step around him and out of the elevator. He chases me down the hallway until we make it to our apartment. Sebastian grabs the back of my head and slams his lips into mine in one last, desperate kiss before he unlocks the door.
My head is still swirling from the kiss when a bottle of champagne pops inside the door.
Tara and Chris are beaming with Aurelia standing between them as they all yell congratulations.
"Awe! You guys! Thank you!" I smile as Aurelia runs to me. I dip down and scoop her up into a hug.
"I want to see your pretty ring, momma." Aurelia grins and I hold my out showing off the stone that sits on my hand.
"Let me see!" Tara smiles as she appears beside me. "It's even prettier on you. I love it."
"Thank you. I love it, too." I look over and see Chris giving Sebastian a hug before he moves toward me.
"I can't believe you want to put up with him for the rest of your life." Chris jokes as he peeks over Aurelia's shoulder to see the ring.
"I can't believe it either." Sebastian fakes being hurt at my words.
|-/*"Lets celebrate!" Tara smiles as she moves to pour the champagne into four glass flutes.
We all sit in the living room laughing as the night goes on. We listen to Chris tell stories about things that happened while filming the Captain America movies. Each story had some kind of embarrassing ending for Sebastian. We laughed until our sides hurt.
At one point, I realized it was way past Aurelia's bedtime and quickly made her tell everyone good night before taking her to bed. She tried to use her big blue eyes to convince me to allow her to stay up later, but as soon as she hit her pillow she was out. I stood there watching her breath for a minute, absolutely in awe of her. It still hasn't completely sunk in that I have the privilege of being her mother. Aurelia rolls over and grunts in her sleep and I take that as my cue to silently step out as I try not to laugh loud enough to wake her.
"You're hilarious." Tara laughs as I rejoin the small party happening in the kitchen.
"Who is hilarious and why?" I ask as I wrap my arms around Sebastian's arm and lay my head on his shoulder. He looks down at me and smiles.
"Christopher. He thinks that he is going to order strippers for the night before the wedding." Tara rolls her eyes.
"Oh, so does that mean that Chris is best man?" I ask, looking up at Sebastian.
"I actually haven't decided yet." He sighs.
"Wait, so you're not going to say anything about the strippers?" Chris asks in bewilderment.
"I don't care. Sebastian isn't going to do anything stupid." I laugh. "Besides, I want everyone to have fun."
"Well, if she isn't against the strippers, I am." Tara huffs as she crosses her arms and gives Chris a warning look.
