Round 1 - Chapter 8 - Young Love In Vacuo

Y/N'S POV

After another flight, we were now in Vacuo. The flight over I once again fell asleep, flights always did that to me. The maid that we took with us actually fell asleep on me during the flight, when she woke up she was mortified, but Weiss and I understood. Once we were there we went to a car rental place, it was amusing to see Weiss and how she didn't take any of the salespeople's bullshit.

Only as the maid drove us off did I find out that while I was sleeping Weiss had not just rented but BOUGHT a house for us to stay at during our vacation but she also made a reservation at an expensive restaurant, to say that I was surprised was an understatement.

So when we arrived we immediately prepared ourselves for the date, I got done before Weiss so I walked downstairs into the living room, the maid was there cleaning already.

Before I stepped outside I stopped, I turned around and faced the maid, she looked at me curiously.

Y/N: "Actually since we haven't asked yet, what's your name?" I asked awkwardly.

Maid: "My name is Mary Zetzs, it won't matter anyway Sir." She replied, looking surprised I asked.

Y/N: "Of course it matters, I would like to properly know the person that helps make my girlfriend and I's lives easier." I replied.

Mary: "R-Really? I mean your girlfriend probably only wants me around during your vacation Sir..."

Y/N: "I don't think so and if that's the case then I will put a VERY good word in for you." I replied walking over to the door.

Mary: "T-Thank you Sir." She replied flustered as she held her arm shyly.

Y/N: "By the way, please call me Y/N." I answered before stepping outside.

Weiss came out behind me just as I was about to step into the car, I quickly rush around to the other side and open the door for her.

Y/N: "Milady." I said with a fake accent.

Weiss: "Charmer..." She said with a light blush.

Y/N: "So where are we going?"

Weiss: "I'll put it into the nav system, it's a splendid restaurant."

The drive to the restaurant was interesting, I had never been to Vacuo before, the terrain was of course rougher, mostly only dirt roads. Weiss told me she had been to Vacuo before for a short while, but even she was looking out the windows in wonder, it was a really cute sight.

When we finally arrived at the place I was floored, the building still had that Vacuo-style and yet it came off as expensive, a combo I never thought could exist or even work. I opened the door for Weiss and did a bow for good measure before I gave the car off to a valet, Weiss smirked once she saw my reaction at the interior. It looked even more expensive than anything that could be in the Schnee manor, it was the peak of luxury.

Weiss: "Impressed?"

Y/N: "Very..." I replied floored.

Weiss: "Good to hear that I know what my man would like~" She said before pecking me on the cheek.

Y/N: "Of course you would."

We moved over to our table on the other side of the room, as soon as we sat down our orders were taken with no fuss. Weiss took my hand and lovingly started into my eyes, the lighting really made her eyes shine.

Weiss: "So Y/N, after Beacon...what do you want to do?"

Y/N: "I don't really have anything major I want to do, just get a place of my own and live happily."

Weiss: "So no missions?"

Y/N: "Nothing major at least that would require me to constantly travel all over Remnant, I would only do missions around whatever place I end up living at."

Weiss: "...D-Do you see me in your future?" She asked, shyly looking down.

Y/N: "Of course I do, we may have only gotten together now, but I have been in love with you for years now." I replied as I squeezed her hand.

Weiss: "Y-You're too good for me..." She muttered just loud enough for me to hear.

Y/N: "Says the angel..." I replied smiling as her blush only got worst.

Finally, our food came, it looked exactly like in stock photos, absolutely perfect. We joked around a bit but for the most part, we just ate in comfortable silence. Once we were done the waiter immediately came over and took our plates away, it was almost as if he had a sensor. He left so quickly that Weiss couldn't even pay, I chuckled at the slight pout she gave at that.

Weiss: "Wanna go for a walk?" She asked as she waved a different waiter over.

Y/N: "Sure."

And so she paid and we made our way outside again, we asked the valet if we could keep the car there for the night, he said it was okay and we went on our way. It was a cool evening with a bit of wind, Weiss cuddled herself up to me as we walked, the distant lights were stunning to look at.

Weiss: "I love you."

Y/N: "I love you too."

Weiss: "I'm so glad that I'm finally with you, wish I would've had the courage to confess much earlier."

Y/N: "Well we still came together didn't we?"

Weiss: "Yep."

TIMESKIP - BEDROOM

At last, we arrived home after our walk, Weiss had gone to take a shower. I put away her shoes and everything, I was really happy with how today went. I want to spoil her absolutely fucking rotten, she might already have the money to buy the world but I would gladly buy it for her if I could.

While Weiss was still taking a shower I was wondering what to do, I'm not super tired so...
