Round 5 - Chapter 5 - Hanging At The Club

Y/N'S POV

I decide to just stick to my original plan of going to the club alone, have some quiet smoking time. I remove Emerald's arm from my shoulder, she pouts but still looks at me hopefully.

Y/N: "Sorry Emerald, but I've already got some things planned, I'll make it up to you though."

Emerald: "Really?" She asks as she perks up again.

Y/N: "Sure, how about we hang out tomorrow at my dorm?"

Emerald: "Sounds great!" She said excitedly.

Y/N: "Then till tomorrow, later Emerald."

Emerald: "Later Y/N." She says, waving goodbye.

There was a cold tension as I walked throughout the city, everyone was still on edge from what happened. The concerned expressions and behavior from the citizens made me feel even worst, like something was gonna jump out at any corner. A few minutes later I get to the club, it was like a hidden gem, or at least in my opinion it was. This club was smaller and got nowhere near as many customers as Junior's, perfect for me.

I step inside and take my usual seat at the counter, the owner and bartender, Roger, already knows me pretty well at this point and nods at me while he serves other customers. I take out a cigarette and finally start decompressing, now I have some time to clearly think about ever-

Kali: "Hey Y/N~" A familiar voice greets, making me let out a big sigh in annoyance.

Y/N: "What do you want Belladonna?" I ask annoyed as I order myself some whiskey.

Kali: "What? not even gonna use my first name? I thought we knew each other better than that~"

Y/N: "Unfortunately..."

As I finally look at her I see that she is as scantly clad as always, wearing some tight latex panties and a top with gloves with only a coat to cover the sexual sight. She looks at me with her usual mischievous smile, I could already tell by experience where this was going...

Y/N: "What do you want?"

Kali: "Want?...why would I want something?"

Y/N: "I know you, you only give me that smile when you want something."

Kali: "giggle I suppose you found me out, there is something I want."

Y/N: "Well spit it out!"

Kali: "There is a mission that needs doing and I'm busy with other stuff, you...happened to walk into the club."

Y/N: "Oh god..."

Memories from previous missions that I either did with or for her come to my mind, they aren't exactly pleasant either. 

On one of the missions we were almost captured and had to hide in a storage room, luckily we weren't discovered. Kali didn't take being cramped up in a small storage room together very well, or at least not in a professional manner...

Y/N: "I still remember the time where you offered to blow me...despite the fact that I'm friends with your daughter." I say as I accept my drink from Roger.

Kali: "She doesn't know we know each other..."

Y/N: "But if she does find out I'll prefer for it to only be a business relationship, not to mention that I have...or had a girlfriend."

Kali: "Oh? what happened"

Y/N: "None of your fucking business!" I spat back in her face as I take a big swig from my glass.

I suppose doing the mission isn't the WORST thing in the world, it would get me some extra cash into my pocket. A nice distraction from the Ruby situation until I know what to do, couldn't hurt I suppose.

If I decline this mission I don't think it'll be too nice to return to Beacon, the Rubys are already unhappy, how much angrier will they be when I come back late at night?...better to let them sleep over the issue to cool them down a bit...
