Ember Graves won the 67th Hunger Games, she thought she would live out the rest of her life in peace. She never thought she had to fear the Games again. What she didn't know was the Games are never over.
After she won, President Snow made her a desirable because of the looks. She was forced to sell her body to the people of the Capitol that she despised. That was how she met the Capitol heartthrob Finnick Odair. The two of them quickly became best friends.
When the Quarter Quell came and it was announced that the two of them are going back into the arena, they both professed their love for one another. But they didn't have time to enjoy being in each other's arm before the arena fell apart and Katniss and some of the other victors, including Finnick, were rescued.
The others like Peeta, Johanna, and Ember were taken by the Capitol. There the remaining victors were tortured.

10/2/2022 My dog is really sick right now so I am not sure when I'll get the first chapter up, since I am focusing on taking care of her and haven't been able to write lately. I took her to the vet Friday and she got two shots and they sent her home with antibiotics and she had to go back yesterday for two more shots and she goes back today for some more shots. She really had me scared Friday but she's doing a little better now.
10/10/2022 Well she passed away this morning. So I think I just need to take a break from everything right now. Two of my dogs have died this year and I can't handle it. I've been crying all morning. The vet said that she had been poisoned, and I know she didn't get poisoned for me.
10/18/2022 My sisters pug was killed tonight by her two pits. He wasn't my dog but I loved him. My sisters husband killed the pits so she lost three dogs in one night.
11/3/2022 My dad just texted me that his husky got killed. Their neighbor shot her. She was a four month old puppy. I only met her once but it's still sad.
This has just been a really terrible year. My dachshund was killing on February 1st this year and it's only went down hill from there.

My mother passed away. And right now I just can't write this story. I will someday but I just need to take a break from everything. I hope whoever read this understands. I want to finish this book because it's the last one in their series and I have a lot planned out but at the moment I can't bring myself to write anything. Too much has happened in the last couple of months and I just need to take a break from everything.

If anyone is still around to read this, I think I am beginning to get motivation back to write this story. I've been thinking about it a lot and reading hunger games fanfic does help get me back in the mood to write this. I have half a chapter that I wrote like a year ago but I think I might want to go in a different direction so it may take some time but I promise that I will see this book finished. I've been writing this series since 2020 and I don't want to give up on it, I just lost motivation for it for a long time but I think I am ready to get back at it.
