The person pictured is Jaimie Alexender, and she will portray Kira. By the way, OneRepublic probably won't appear until like chapter 6, because I'm still introducing characters and such.
Chris Martin's POV
I went out the door to the tour bus and consulted with my band members.
"Hey fellow Brits, what's up?", I asked.
"You know, working on some new songs. We wanted to talk to you about a song that we--", before Guy could finish his sentence, I interrupted him and began talking about the girl,
"Sorry Guy, but I need to talk to you personally about something that you specialize in"
"Oh, has Chris found himself a girl?", Guy asked in a high pitched tone. What the hell, the guy read my mind. Will and Jonny left the scene, for they aren't the romantic type. Ha, losers.
"Yeah, don't laugh, but I met her here at Taco Bell, and we talked for about an hour. I'm taking her on a date tomorrow night and I need your help on planning where it should be at and what I should wear. What to wear especially, because you're awesome at choosing what to wear for our gigs"
"Yeah, I can help you with that", Guy said. Then he left to talk to the bus driver, and I assume he's telling the driver to change route to a formal clothing shop.
Guy's POV
"Hey Ralph, could you take us to Dillard's? I need to buy Chris a tux for he has a date tomorrow"
"Hey, hey, hey." Ralph said with a Fat Albert impression."Sure man, anything for the b(ass) player."
"Alright, thanks man", I said with a smirk. He keeps calling me the 'B(ass) Player' for all the Coldplayer girls dig me and my b(ass). To me, it's more humorous than it is annoying.
Meanwhile, at Violet's work
Violet's POV
I walked into work more happily than usual. Yet, it wouldn't be surprising with this attitude if any girl would be asked out by the one and only Chris Martin. After calling for my best friend Kira, I guided us to an empty room so I can talk to her about the exciting event that just happened at Taco Bell.
After explaining every concrete detail, Kira just sat there with her hands over her mouth. She was just in complete shock.
"Wow Violet, you are so lucky!! Wait, don't you have a late night shift tomorrow night 'til midnight?"
"Oh shit," I completely forgot. "Could you do a favor and cover for me tomorrow? I know I'm asking for alot, but I don't want to miss this experience. Plus, I don't get asked out very often, unlike you.", I said without hesitation.
"Sure, but we need to confer with our boss first before we even make those plans," Kira said.
After Kira and Violet's workshift at 5:00
Kira's POV
"I'm so glad our boss is OK with me filling in for you tomorrow night. Since I'm an expert at perfect dating outfits, follow my car to a place. You'll know what it is when we get here", I exclaimed as Violet and I headed out to our vehicles.
Meanwhile, once we arrived at Dillard's, we began looking around for dresses when a female employee came up to us.
"Excuse me, but does one of you go by the name of Violet?", the employee asked.
"Yes, that's me.", said Violet with a very confused look.
"Well, a young fellow by the name of Chris got a dress supposedly for you. Follow me this way and let's go retrieve it." she said.
Violet's POV
Oh my gosh, he was here, what a coincidence. Plus, I don't even have to spend any of my money, what an advantage. Chris is so sweet, this feels very much like heaven, but I have to realize that I'm right here living this amazing life. Tomorrow, at the date, I have to forget about my past life and live my current life. For I can't keep holding onto the dreadful memories that keep me away from living this life that God has given to me. Just focus on the good things, I keep telling myself.
Without paying attention, my mind came to focus once we reached the dress.
"Well, here's the dress. I think he did an excellent choice of picking it out for you. Actually, his fellow friend picked it out, but hey, it's pretty" the employee said with delight.
I smiled a bit and gave a little smirk because of the worker. The dress was actually very beautiful like she said. It's a rosy red color with sparkly sleeves that would cover half my arms. It was also a little short and it would cover my legs a little above my knees. Man, Chris's fellow friend must have a very good fashion instinct.
"If you wouldn't of strolled in the store today, Chris gave me your number just in case you didn't come so I could call you to pick it up." the employee said.
I just stood there perplexed, and thought that it was very instinctive for Chris to think that I'd come here. Well, I guess his instincts are right.
"Thank you, I appreciate it" I told the worker as I left the shop with Kira.
