In the previous chapter, I talked about The Bakery and how Coldplay recorded all their songs there. Yes I know, The Bakery is actually located in London and not Denver, but I do not know much about London and I'm American. Sorry if this flipped some of you off. And I also apologize for not being active the past few months. My last chapter only got one favorite and hardly anyone read it. I really hope this story is not going downhill, so I will try to make this story more interesting.

Chris Martin's POV

Once we got to the restaurant, I looked at Violet and her face was filled with glee. Almost as if her head full of dreams all came true. I thanked the limo driver and quickly got out of the vehicle and went to Violet's door to open it. Then, the rest of the band exited the black batman-like limo.

Violet's POV

I just can't believe it. Chris took me to the one place I have ever dreamed of going. For years ever since I started watching Doctor Who at age 7, I always wanted to go to Ten Roses of Delights. I read an article that said the menu had 2 appetizers, 3 entrées, 2 desserts, and 3 nonalcoholic drinks, having a total amount of 10 items, with the exception of regular fountain drinks and water and tea. The titles of all the items correlated with things from Doctor Who. Like for instance, what is actually a steak is called Captain Beefcake and a dessert that is actually chocolate cake, is called Mickey.

Guy opened the door to the restaurant for all of us this time, and I thanked him. We all then sat around a circular booth in which the color of its texture was Tardis blue and the table that lay in the middle had a tablecloth designed with cartoon-like bowties, tardises, 3-D glasses, stars, fezzes, leather jackets, and sonic screwdrivers. A waitress came up to us and asked us what type of drinks we wanted, and everyone except Chris and I, ordered drinks besides water. Guy ordered the Fez Taster; Jonny ordered the Bowtie River; and Will ordered the Blood Rose. Chris and I just ordered water.

The waitress came back a few minutes later after giving us our drinks and asked if we wanted any appetizers, and I said no. She then asked us which of the two entrees we wanted; Chris, Guy, and myself ordered the Captain Beefcake and Will and Jonny ordered the Parallel Universe Sandwich, that contained some regular white turkey slices which contrasted with roasted white turkey slices.

After we ate all our food, Will decided to pay for all of us and I thanked him. I then squeezed Chris' hand and told him that I enjoyed him coming up with the idea for bringing me here. Then, we left the restaurant and I told Chris that I'd like to go home before the party later tonight so I can get ready. He said that was fine. The next thing I knew, I was back at my house. Chris then texted me that he will back at my house to pick me up at 4, and reminded me I could bring some friends if I wanted to. The only friend I really had was Kira, because she was the only other person, besides my parents, that got me through the grief and depression I had when my grandparents died. I then decided to call her.

The Call:

Kira~ Hey

Violet~ Hey, I was just wondering if you are free tonight at 5:30. I met Ryan Tedder last night when he heroically saved Chris and I during our date when two guys decided they wanted to try and rob the place. The robbers were about to kill this innocent man, and Chris got up from beneath our table because we were hiding, and tried talking to them about killing him instead of the man. I then got up from beneath the table also and hugged Chris telling the robbers that if they shot Chris, they would have to kill me too. But right before one of the guys pulled the trigger, Ryan came into the restaurant, stole one their guns, and killed them both before they began killing people, which included Chris and I. And then Ryan invited us to his party tonight, and said we can bring any friends we'd like. So, want to come?

Kira~ What the hell Violet. You go from asking me to go to a party to telling me this story of how you almost got killed? Forget the party talk right now, are you ok? You aren't hurt, right?. You must be frightened.

Violet~ Calm down Kira. I am alright. I did not get shot and I am not hurt. I do not need a mother-like talk right now. The only way to forget the incident is to never speak of it ever again, which means you can not tell anyone. Understand?

Kira~ Ok fine, I understand. I was going to get a physiatrist for you, but I will only do anything if you have your consent for it. I guess I'll go to the party.

Violet~ That's awesome. Luckily we were both off today, because if we weren't, we would probably not be able to have this bedazzling night. And by the way, there will not be any alcoholic drinks because Chris and his band want to be sober for their concert Friday night.

Kira~ That's fine. I am not a big drinker anyway. You know what? We should both wear dresses with the same color. What about green?

Violet~ What? We aren't 7 anymore. I'm joking, that's fine. Come by my house around 4, because that is when Chris is picking us up. He rented a limo for the day.

Kira~ Gotcha, bye Violet

Violet~ See ya.

Violet's POV

Three more hours until it's time for Chris to pick us up. Searching through my closet, I found a sparkly green dress with a low back, another green dress with the absence of sparkles and instead had a smooth silky texture and was long, and the last one was short and thin that only just reached my fingertips. I decided to wear the silky one because I always dreaded wearing uncomfortable dresses while attending a party, and the silk one would counter that. After picking out that dress, I decided to take a nap and set my alarm to 3 o'clock.

An hour and a half later I woke up to my alarm but then realized my cat came to my bed and decided to sleep next to me. Her name is Quorra and the breed she's in is Snowshoe. I pet her for a few minutes and then began making my way to the bathroom to put my makeup on. I placed black eye shadow right above my green liner. Designing my eyeliner to look mysterious by making intricate leaf-like designs took a bunch of effort along with 20 minutes, because I kept messing up. After the makeup placement, I went to my closet and put on some random dressy shoes and made my way downstairs, which was timing considering Kira then knocked on the door. "Ready?" I asked.

"Yep. You certainly look dazzling" Kira said.

"Likewise with you."

20 minutes passed and Chris arrived.

"Time to go" I exclaimed. Instantly pushing back a dreadful thought.
