So this chapter is going to have some conflict and it will start to get exciting, you'll see. Also, this chapter will be very short, and I'm sorry for that, but I promise I will make alot more chapters this coming weekend.

Chris Martin's POV

As we approached the restraunt, I got my jacket off and put it around Violet's arms to give her warmth from the freezing air. Then, I realized how cold I was soon after that, but I didn't want to be selfish and snatch it back from her, because that isn't what a kind gentlemen like myself would do. Before I knew it, we reached the door and I was thankful with relief.

"Ladies first" I said, as I quickly opened the door for Violet.

"Thanks" she said, blushing yet again.

When we walked in, a waiter lead us to a table and asked for drinks. I asked for a Dr.Pepper and Violet asked for a Coke. The waiter put down our drink orders and then walked off.

"So, I'm assuming that you favor Italian food?", Violet asked.

"As a matter of fact I do--"

Before I could even finish my sentence, I heard the sound of a gun go off, and I quickly threw myself and Violet underneath the table.

"What's going on?" she whispered, as she began to bawl silently.

Before I could even say anything, I heard a man answer her question for me.

"Everyone stay calm. This is a restraunt burglary. As long as nobody moves, no one will get hurt."
With that, I heard a rummaging through money and coins from the front of the store. As I peeked under the tablecloth, I saw someone get up and try to run away from the restaurant. However, he was stopped only a few seconds later when the initial burglar we heard grabbed him by his arm.

"Oh shit, why can't people just listen. That man is going to get himself killed" I whispered to Violet with a deep agony for the man.

"What the hell did I just order you to do?! I told you to stay where you're at!" one of the burglars said.

"Logan," another burglar said "just shoot the little prit so we won't have to deal with him anymore"

"Whatever James", Logan said. He continued with "Any last words the one who never listens" as he pointed his gun at the guy's face.

Violet's POV
As Logan said this to the poor man, I gasped in fear. Yet unexpectedly, Chris got out from beneath the table and began walking to the scene.

       "Chris, no!"

I tried with all my strength to pull him back down, but he didn't let me. He acted like I wasn't even there, for he was so determined to stop Logan from killing someone innocent.

All that I can think about at the moment, is that I can't bear losing someone that I care about so much.
