Saturday
I went to our house only to find that Ben's drinking all alone. I don't recall having booze in our house, he must have purchased it somewhere. I don't even know why he's all down and depressed when all of this is his fault. I'm partly to be blamed for the accident that caused Toby to lie on the hospital bed, but it's his fault for cheating on me. "Ben," I said, "I want you to sign the divorce papers."
"Please don't do this to me!" He replied, "I'll change if you want, just don't leave me like this."
"Why are you begging me to stay? You're the one who's hanging with another woman, In the first place."
"I love you, Lisa, please don't do this to me! I'm begging you. I'll be a changed man just for you."
"Then why did you cheat on me?" He didn't answer my question. "See, that's my point." I said, "Now I want you to sign these papers, and I'll be leaving you for good." Ben signed the divorce papers, and I went on to pack my stuff and leave this house for good. For this house only brings me bad memories. I wanted to start a new life with Toby, so I do hope that Toby would wake up soon.
