At last!

The time has finally come. This is the battle that will decide who will be victorious in the end. We all woke up early from our sleep, preparing ourselves. Some of us are having a hard time sleeping because of the fact that the battle excites us and at the same time are afraid of what might be the outcome. Knowing full well that we might not make it our alive, we prepare ourselves for the battle. I told Sully to take the Sirens to the city while we all flew there ourselves. As we roam around this huge cityscape, the general took his words seriously. This city is now abandoned and once again will be a battle ground that will decide our fate. I told the general to stay on the edge of the riverside while we fight that demon on the sky. "I'll lure him inside, while everyone attacks! Okay?" I said.

"Roger that!" The general replied.

"I'm good." Sam said.

"Me too." Toby said.

"So am I." Hunter said. Now that everyone's in position, the Sirens and the Garuda's have arrived shortly after our conversation. "Took you long enough!" I said to the Garuda's.

"Forgive us, my lord!" Sera said. "Our castle is far away from here. Please understand our circumstance, we tried our best to go as early as we can."

"Don't worry about it." I replied. "Everyone! Here's the plan. I'll lure the demon inside, then on my signal all of you will attack him with all of your fire power. And aim for his heart."

"Why the heart?" Salem asked.

"I believe that's his weak spot."

"Understood." Salem said.

"We understand." Sera said.

"I'll go now. Wait for my signal."

"Understood sir!" The general said. "All in position!" The general shouted. The soldiers position themselves near the riverside, along with their tanks and planes that soon will be flying in the sky. I flew as fast as I can just to go outside. I'm now outside, I took out my sword and aimed it towards the sky. I used its power to summon fire so dense, it created a tornado of flame that shoots towards the sky, making the sword heavier than usual then I stopped and waited for him to arrive.

A few minutes that turned hours, and I'm not sure if it's been an hour that I've waited since time works differently in this world. From afar, I see Morpheus in his demonic form, flying towards me. Then he descended and the earth shaken for a moment. He's gotten bigger and stronger, he's seven-foot-tall now with a wingspan that is almost the length of a great white shark. I'm trembling in fear, but I know that I will have to face him sooner than later. So, I man-up and faced my fear. Him. He transformed back into his human form, but instead of an old man with red eyes like before, he now resembles a man in his thirties who's five and a half foot tall, wearing a black suit and tie and the red eyes are still there. "This is what I used to look like before I was betrayed by my very people I called friends," Morpheus said, "Do you like it?"

"No, I don't!" I replied angrily.

"Look, kid." Morpheus said. "I don't want to complicate things. I just want the sword and maybe we can help each other out?"

"Why I should trust you?" I replied. "You've been trapped here for a reason."

"Do you even know why I'm trapped here in the first place?"

"No, I don't! And why should I bother knowing?"

"Because in history, you'll learn many things. Why this happened, and why its doomed to repeat itself."
