Sam jammed the door so that the creature following us won't get close to us at any moment. "Now that we're safe," Sam said, "We need to find the door going to your limbo and retrieve your memories."

"Who are you, really?" I inquired, "Am I dead? And what is this place, exactly?" I'm freaked out by what I'm seeing right now. From a hallway without an end to a grass land filled with doors. This looks and feels surreal in my eyes. How weird can this world be? "I know you have a lot of questions," Sam replied, "But we don't have much time." We walked along the grasslands to find the door that he said would lead to my limbo. I don't even know what a limbo is. "What do you mean by; we don't have much time?"

"That creature you met, is going to take you so that he can go to the physical world. If he succeeds or not, you might end up dying on the process and my mission is to not let that happen."

"So, am I dead?"

"Not, not yet. But you will be if you don't cooperate."

"Then what is this place?" I asked angrily, "Answer my question, damn it!"

"Alright," Sam said, "If I answer your question, will you cooperate with me?"

"Yeah, we have a deal." I said, "So what is this place called?"

"This place is called the dream world."

"What's a dream world?" I inquired.

"It is a place where dreamers dream, and dream walkers like us can walk freely to other people's dreams."

"I see, so what's a limbo?"

"A limbo is your own dream world, where you can create your own reality."

"Then that means, all of these doors are connected to every person dreaming right now?"

"You're very deductive as always. But you're correct. At least from what I understand so far."

"I see," I said, "so, what happened to this world? And why is that demon chasing me?"

"It was taken over by that demon you've just met. He has taken over this world, that's when everything became disfigured when he woke up, lots of dream walkers died because of his selfish desire to go back to the physical world."

"Why is he doing that?"

"I don't know, but I'm here to rescue you from him and prevent you from dying."

"Why?"

"Because you hold the key to his death."

"But I don't recall having a key?"

"There is a key, Zack. There is. And your memories are the key on stopping him."

"Okay, but why can't I remember anything?"

"Because you erased your memories, and we need to go to your limbo to retrieve all of it and get out of this place. You're the only one who knows how to destroy him, so that might be why you erased your memories. So that he won't know how to go back to the physical world. You're the only person standing in front of his plans, Zack."

"What will happen to you if we succeeded?"

"I don't know yet. But I have to rescue you from him, that's all that matters."

"By the way, did you just said that I can walk through people's dreams? How is that possible?"

"You're special, Zack. You can not only walk through people's dreams and restructure people's memories to make them believe the reality that you've setup in their mind, but you can also walk freely into other people's limbo and go out without hesitation." I have to admit, that's cool in many ways. But deep down I feel like I still don't get what he's trying to say, I'm trying to digest every word he said but I'm having a hard time doing so.

"Now we need to find the door leading to your limbo." Sam said.

"Sure, how do we find it?" I replied.

"Luckily, I know what your door looks like." So, we continued walking. As we are walking along the grassland filled with doors, at least fifteen long minutes have passed and we're still walking without knowing where to go. At last, the long wait is over. We're able to find the door leading to my limbo. It's a golden door that has a deity in the middle shining his light and with three seraphim flying within the light, but what strike me the most is the door knob. It's a purple diamond knob. "Looks rather flashy." I said.

"That's who you are, Zack." Sam replied, "you've always been so flamboyant when it comes to designing your own universe."

"Why is that?"

"You'll see for yourself." Then moments later, a sudden flash of explosion burst through the same door that we jammed. Now the demon looks pissed as he swings his arms uncontrollably while walking in a weird patter, as if there's someone he's fending off in front of him. He might still have been blinded by the flash light that Sam used against him. "Hurry!" Sam shouted. We ran inside the door as quick as we could. Then shut the door and went on our way to retrieve my memories.
