I was at school when I saw it. A Tuesday afternoon. The most beautiful blue eyes were looking my way. How much time did we spend staring at each other, I don't know, all I know is I felt something. But then someone stumbled on top of me.
"Oops! Ow! Excuse me!" she said clanging on my shoulder making me fall.
"Whoa, you alright?"
"Excuse me, Hi" she said laughing nervously.
"Hi" I answered trying to keep eye contact with the sapphires.
"I'm so sorry I fell on you like that"
"It's okay" I responded awkwardly.
"I'm just--I've been a klutz all day"
"It's alright" Don't lose the eyes.
"Sprained this ankle. Oh my goodness. Oh, I'm so sorry." Can't find them. "I'm so sorry to fall on you like that"
"Oh that's alright. Don't worry about it"
"I'm Camille" she said smiling.
"Hi, I'm Harry" I said still trying to find the eyes.
"Hey. It's nice to meet you!" she said.
"Yeah, nice to meet you too" Where did they go?
"Hey do you have anything to do this Friday?"
"Umm no, why?" What do you want?
"As a way of apology, I would like to take you for some coffee?"
"Oh, okay" Don't be rude. They were gone.
I didn't see the eyes again for the rest of the week. I told my best friend Niall about it, he thought I was delusional. I didn't tell him everything though, I just couldn't. He told me to focus on Camille, she was quite popular and apparently into me. I hadn't even noticed her until Tuesday. We went for coffee on Friday, she didn't stop talking. She was originally from french but moved to the UK a few years ago. I mostly listened to what she was saying but my mind kept going back to those ocean eyes. I felt like I could just stare at them for the rest of my life without complaining.
The next time I saw them was on the football field. He was over on the bench, staring at me. I got a better view of him. He had a blue bracelet that matched his eyes and was wearing black tight jeans and a white shirt. I went over to talk to him, I needed something, a name, a number, it didn't matter. But then the cheerleading team started doing their routine in front of him. When I got to his spot he was gone.
Camille and Niall became close and started hanging out with me more often. I got used to it with Niall, but Camille, I barely knew her. But at least she was nice.
We were in the library, I was studying for the finals we had the next day.
"Come on Harry! Come with us! It's going to be fun!" Niall said grabbing my hair to pull me out of my sit.
"No Niall, I still have 15 chapters to finish" I said trying to keep studying.
"Harry, you've studied enough" Camille said trying to convince me.
"No. I got to commit this to memory." I said while reading the books.
"Come on!" Both said.
"You're going to have to copy off me, so be careful." I said.
"Well you're a better person than I am. See you later" Camille said kissing me on the cheek.
"See you later, I'm gonna go eating" Niall said punching me on the shoulder.
