chapter one ~ goodbyes

Y/N WAS CURRENTLY IN HER MATH CLASS . her last class until the end of the day.

kate, y/ns sister, said she needed to talk when she got home. y/n was confused, but didnt ask questions.

she was zoned out until she heard her bell ring. she quickly got up, grabbed her things, and waited for her friend, alice,(if thats your name you can change it)at her locker.

she saw alice at the corner of her eye coming up to her, she looked sad.

'' hey! whats wrong?'' y/n said,

'' my dad got a new job''

'' thats great!''

alice looked up at the brown colored hair girl and said,

'' we are moving to new york. im sorry i didnt tell you sooner i found out last night.''

y/n quickly turned her lips into and frown, ''w-what?'' she started to stutter due to trying not to cry.

'' im sorry y/n. i-i gotta go and continue packing, we leave tonight. i love you y/n, we will contact each other everyday. i dont wanna leave y/n but its for the sake of my family,''

alice said crying as she hugged y/n '' please dont think of this as something bad. i will come back for the holidays and stuff okay. i love you, so so much y/n, bye for now,''she said as she pulled away.

'' i understand. its for your dad and i am so proud of him, i love you alice, i always have, and always will.'' alice gave her a big hug before turning away and walking into her moms car, waving sadly at y/n.

''goodbye''

'' kate, im home,'' the teen said sadly.

kate ran out of the kitchen and said '' whats wrong hunny, come sit,''

y/n and kate sat down at the kitchen table, ''now tell me whats wrong,''

'' alice is moving'' she tells kate the whole story while crying. '' y/n, we need to talk,'' ''o-okay'' she said as she drank a glass of water.

'' i got a new job, im gonna be a nanny for a little girl named flora fairchild. her parents recently died and needs care. we leave in 2 days. pack everything. we will be living there,'' y/n was in shock by the words that kate just said.

'' oh my god. what about school?"

'' you will be doing online school, just like flora,''

''wow, okay fine ill start packing then,'' she ran into her room, threw her backpack and took a short nap.

1 hour later, y/n woke up. she opened her closet and grabbed a towel and some black sweatpants.

she opened her dresser, revealing socks and underwear along with bras. she grabbed a white sports bra, along with matching underwear.

she grabbed a pair of black socks, and walked into her restroom and closed the door.

y/n turned on a warm shower and walked in. 30 minutes later, she changed into her comfy clothes and wash her face. she brushed her hair and wrapped it in the towel.

y/n made her way into her room, and put all her dirty clothes to wash, then, it was time to start packing.

she started by taking of her posters and putting them into a box. then, she packed all the stuff from her desk, and shelves.

y/n then put a few pieces of clothes into a box before getting called downstairs for dinner. she finished up and went back into her half empty room. she got in bed before turning off her lights and falling asleep.
