chapter two ~ from the past into the future

Y/N WAS WOKEN UP TO THE SOUND OF HER SISTER YELLING, "fucking hell,"

y/n quickly got out of bed and ran downstairs. she saw her mom walking around the kitchen table freaking out,

''what the hell happened?'' yelled y/n while walking down the stairs.

'' we need more boxes but i cant find them and i dont have enough money for more, i spent it all of packing supplies,'' she started to think of what she can do to help.

'' its okay kate, ill go into town and buy them, i dont need the money anyways,''

kates face quickly lit up. '' thank you hunny, it means alot,'' y/n smiled and ran upstairs, tripping on her way up,

'' ow,'' she got up at kept walking to her room. she walked in and grabbed her clothes for the day.

she grabbed her sweater and bag, and walked 15 minutes to the nearby supplies store. she walked in and saw it, the wood house.

y/n and her dad were at home sitting on the couch watching tv, dog with a blog to be exact, when something caught her eye.

'' daddy, is that a playhouse made of wood!?'' her dad turned his head and said, '' yes. i see them on tv all the time!'' y/n smiled and asked, '' can i get one, please,''

her dad turned his head to her and said, '' i dont know where they sell them. im sorry pumpkin,'' y/n put her head down and said, '' its okay dad, i understand,''

1 week later, her dad needed some supplies and had to go to the supplies store.

y/n tagged along. they were in the car singing britney spears, y/n's favorite artist, her dad even took her to one of her concerts 8 months before.

until, she saw the big building. her and her dad stepped out of the car, walking into the store.

y/n looked around and smiled so big,'' daddy look! its the wood house from last week! can i get it!!!'' her dad turned around and said

'' of course! we can pick it up once im done finding the correct glue,'' y/n jumped up and down. when they got home, her dad built it and she quickly started playing in it.

that was 7 years ago, he died in an accident 2 years after. her mom died 2 years later, ending her own life. she missed them, but after her dad bought her that house, he started doing things to her.

she never got to tell him how she felt, because, well, he died. when he died she felt a bit of relief, but, hurt.

she walked into the store and got the boxes and went home. '' KATE IM HOME,'' she set some of the boxes down, keeping some in her hand for her stuff in her room.

'' okay great, keep packing, we leave at 5 am tomorrow. the house is pretty far,''

she ran to her room and looked at the time, 9:37 am. she scrolled on her social media, until she saw a picture of her dad in her archived photos.

she stared at it and turned off her phone. she got up, took if her sweater, and put it on her empty desk. she continued packing.

a few hours later, she looked at the time, 5:20 pm. her sister would call her for dinner in 10 minutes.

she had already finished her closet, desk, side table, and most of her bathroom. she was currently packing her dresser.

she was almost done until her heard her mom, '' Y/N! DINNER IS READY,'' she went downstairs, ate, and finished packing.

she took a bath, and did her night routine. she started by washing her face, putting eye balm, and chapstick. she brushed her teeth right after.

she put the rest of her restroom stuff in her bag, and laid on her empty bed with her pillow and blanket that she will be using in the car tomorrow. she looked at her phone, 9:46 pm. she scrolled on her phone until 10. she fell asleep.

the next morning she woke up to an empty house, no furniture, no tables, no picture frames.

she got up and saw kate putting the last of the stuff in the car. she quickly changed into soe comfortable clothes. she tied up her hair and grabbed her bags. she looked around the house before stepping out. her childhood, her memories, her friends, everything.
