chapter six ~ feelings

y/n pov:

MILES AND I WERE DONE AND THANKED MRS.GROSE AND WENT UPSTAIRS.

i was laying in my bed when miles came in '' h-hey y/n what are you doing?'' i looked over and said, '' oh hey, im just watching stranger things'' miles had a shocked look on his face. ''that is my favorite show, i didn't expect you to like those kind of things,'' i raised a brow and '' there is a lot of things you don't know about me,'' i said smirking. miles was also smirking, '' whatever'' i looked at him and said, ''miles'' ''yes''

''i know we just met yesterday, but i feel like we are gonna be best friends,'' miles looked at me in awe, '' y-yeah, me too,'' at this point we were already smiling at eachother.

time skip to dinner, brought to you by miles curly hair

y/n and miles were called downstairs after long conversation. they both walked downstairs next to each other and sat down. y/n was eating, when she heard weird noises. she looked over, and saw miles was eating, like crazy. he was starving.

she was almost doing the same thing, since they had skipped lunch for some reason. '' woah miles, y/n, calm down'' said kate. miles didn't like getting told what to do. he stared at her and said, '' don't ever tell me what to do,'' kate looked at him, she was pissed. '' she is my sister and i will tell her what she can and cannot-''

'' kate, stop. you have been controlling me since mom died an-'' y/n never told miles anything about her parents. and kate never liked talking about it. what kate didn't know, was what her dad did to y/n. but that's for another time. ''just stop telling me what i can and cannot do, got it?''

it was like she changed into a whole other person. miles was shocked at what he just heard. he also didn't expect y/n to ever react like that. he kept eating though. when he was done,he asked, '' may we be excused?'' mrs.grose nodded. he grabbed y/n's arm and walked away into his room. they sat down on his bed.

y/n pov

we walked into miles room and sat down. it was just a mattress on the floor, no bed frame or anything, weird. '' y/n, why didn't you tell me about your parents?'' i understood why he was asking this, but i didn't want to answer. i have only known miles for one day, and we already agreed we were best friends.

''he did stuff to me that is a story for another time, miles. he dead, i didn't think i would have to tell you,'' ''y/n, my parents are gone too. you don't think i miss them? i understand you don't wanna talk about what he did, but you can't not tell me that he's dead,''

i had tears in my eyes. miles did the most unthinkable thing EVER, he hugged me. miles had only ever hugged flora, and i knew that. he played with my hair while i cried in hid shoulder. miles was also crying, but he didn't know why.

that's when I knew, I, y/n mandell. fell in love with him.

but we both didn't know, is that we fell in love, with each other.

and that we were being watched.
