IT WAS THREE DAYS AFTER THE INCIDENT,

y/n stayed shut in her room, crying every night that passed, missing all the meals of the day. she woke up in the late hours of the day, doing absolutely nothing.

kate noticed this behavior, and tried to talk to her. she tried to get miles to speak to her, but y/n never opened her door to not one person.

flora tried talking to her, didn't work either.

nobody knew what was going on with her, but miles knew what happened that day, but doesn't know the story.

it was the morning of the fourth day of not seeing y/n. miles became so worried about her. he didn't know if she ate, if she slept, if she even took care of her self.

he heard her cry all the time though.

it broke his heart because he knew that it was his fault. but it wasn't him.

you see, miles felt no control over his body when he did these things. like he was in a video game, and someone was controlling his every move. it felt like when your dizzy and can't feel your body, but much more uncomfortable.

miles walked to his door and opened it. he looked across the dark hall, to see y/n's door, no light from the thin creek.

usually, she has a lamp on, or her led lights that are wrapped across the frame of the wooden bed.

he found himself walking to her room to wake her up, but the knob stopped half way, meaning the door was locked. it brought a wave of sadness over his body. he understood. he could hear her breathing as she slept.

he walked into the halls of the manor, causing him to squint from the light coming from the outside.

he made his way down stairs, walking into the kitchen, sitting next to flora. kate sat across from flora, planning floras school plan for the next week.

she looked at miles as he set his hands on the table. she gave him a look with a face of hope. basically asking if he talked to y/n.

he sadly nodded slowly.

she didn't eat.

she didn't sleep.

she didn't care.

she sadly frowned, she missed the presence of her sister. yeah, they had their moments, but she loved her more than anything.

mrs.grose walked into the dining room with plates of food. miles didn't want to eat, he didn't eat comfortably knowing y/n wasn't eating. he had to stay strong, for flora. atleast.

he played around with the syrup that was sitting ontop of the waffles mrs.grose prepared. he wasn't that hungry. flora took note of this and decided to speak. she didn't understand what had been going on the past few days.

"miles, why aren't you eating? these waffles are yummy!"

miles decided to just eat, for the sake of his loving sister.

"flora, mine are a bit warm. i'm waiting for them to cool down." he softly spoke, giving her a small smile, her returning the gesture.
