chapter seven ~ sighting

y/n pov:

MILES AND I WERE EATING LUNCH WITH FLORA DOWNSTAIRS. kate was in her room doing god knows what, and mrs.grose was cleaning around the house. miles was telling me how he choked a kid for burning a picture of his parents. i was listening when i heard a cry.

i look beside me and see flora curled up in front of a window. miles saw her and stood up and walked over to her, i was following him. ''flora, whats wrong? are you okay?'' miles looked scared, almost like he knew what was going on.

''i-i-i-i saw something, it smiled at me and ran away,'' miles look extremely scared at this point. ''okay, look for mrs.grose and go upstairs with her into the room kate's room. stay there until we come in,'' flora ran faster than light.

3rd person pov:

miles and y/n stood up and miles grabbed her hand. they were not uncomfortable, they were scared. they needed as much comfort from each other as possible. they walked around the house looking for anything for anyone. they were done with the downstairs, and walked upstairs.

they didn't go into east wing, miles had already explained about never going in there. he didn't say why, he just told her, to never go in there. they were scared to walk into any room without each other.

they heard a giant crash in y/n's room. they looked at each other and slowly walked to the door. miles turned the knob and let the door open (idk if that make's sense) and pulled scared y/n into his arms.

they both walked in, and saw that her shelves above her desk were on the floor. along with the stuff on them all over the floor.

they look up and saw some one in the floor mirror. it was a man in all black. y/n was about to scream, but miles put his hand over her mouth,

'' don't scream. he is dangerous. he can hurt kate, not you. i'll protect you,'' he whispered. he let her go and they both jumped up when they heard the door slam. they turned around in fear, they saw quint. miles stood in front of y/n as he walked closer to them. '' you cant keep them safe forever,'' he disappeared.

a few hours later miles and y/n were still shocked about their experience. they were with flora on the couch for the rest of the day watching tv. miles was hugging flora, y/n was also hugging her. they both wanted to know why quint showed himself to flora, and not miles or y/n. miles never told y/n about quint either, but y/n never questioned it. they were both scared.

''y/n'' ''miles'' '' i want you to sleep in my room tonight. i don't want him to show himself to you or for you to get scared,'' y/n blushed at the thought of spending the night with her crush.

''okay. we can go once i change,'' y/n ran upstairs and changed quickly. she took off her light makeup she was wearing and grabbed her phone and charger. she made her way to miles room, he was not in there.

she went downstairs and saw miles walking with flora in his arms. she went in his room while he was putting flora to sleep. she was scrolling on her phone bored out of her mind when she saw miles walk in.

k hi i have not been updating because i don't want my cousin to read these but anyways. i plan y/n and miles to be together in a few chapters. also, i forgot to mention,someone new will be coming probably the chapter after the next one. just know some juicy will happen. ( ALSO THE AUBREYS NEW INSTA POST OMFG) k bye besties.
