chapter eight ~ midnight

MILES AND Y/N WERE JUST LAYING THERE IN SILENCE. no phones, no talking, no sound. they heard a knock on the door and look at each other as it slowly opened. miles got up in case it was quint, but no. the door revealed adorable flora.
'' FLORA?'' miles and y/n said in sync.

'' hey guys. i woke up from a dream and looked for y/n but she wasn't in her room, why is she in here?''

they hadn't told flora or anyone to be exact what happened earlier.

''um, we wanted to have a sleepover, y/n was having bad dreams.'' flora looked up and said, '' me too, it was about y/n and i this time. can i stay with you guys?''

y/n looked at flora because she was confused on why flora had this dream. ''yes of course. come lay next to me and y/n,''

y/n was watching netflix on the foot of the bed, and miles and flora were both watching cooking videos. at this point it was almost 1:00. no one in the room was close to even sleeping. miles sat up with flora in his lap (flora is 7, i forgot to mention)

''im bored, lets go downstairs,'' y/n and flora both smiled. ''lets do it''

miles walked over to the door and slowly turned the knob. y/n as behind him with flora in her arms. flora was scared of the dark and she asked y/n if she could carry her. y/n being obsessed with flora, she said yes.

they walked down the stairs slowly and made it to the kitchen. '' let's grab the snacks, and run back,''

'' miles, flora can't run back. she's scared,'' miles thought about if for a bit. ''okay here's the plan. we can get the snacks and put them in a bag or something. i can shine the light from my phone,'' flora smiled.

y/n sat flora down and they went crazy. miles was grabbing all the energy drinks from the fridge so they can stay up, flora was grabbing opening cabnet's and grabbing cookies and chocolate, y/n was getting the boxes of the chips and gummy bears.

miles sat flora on the counter and got out a bag from under the counter. he started putting everything in the bags, and gave them each bags and miles got his phone out. they ran.
