Summary- Liam invited Theo to Pack Night. The pack is not happy!

A/n- Tbh this one might not be the best one. But tell me what you think. Feedback would definitely be appreciated. Apologies for any spelling mistakes in advance😅

"What is he doing here?" growled Malia threateningly.

Theo stood in the doorway of the McCall's house, trying not to show how uncomfortable he is with this situation. He knew he shouldn't have come to this, but out of all the things in this world that he can resist, Liam's puppy dog eyes seemed to be the exception.

Said beta was positioned in between him and Malia's slightly crouched form, and was the only thing keeping Theo from being mauled by the other were-coyote.

"I invited him" Liam said, as if it was the most normal thing to do.

Malia growled again, this time inching closer. Liam stood his ground. If Malia wanted to get to Theo, she would have to go through him first. He was hoping Scott would intervene before that happened. He looked over at Scott who was standing quietly behind his girlfriend observing the scene, and frowning at Theo.

Stiles on the other hand was closer to them and was glaring coldly at Theo, the anticipation of a fight clear from his body language. Preferably, one that ended with Theo back in hell, knowing the hatred the other boy still carried for the chimera.

Lydia was standing in the living room watching the scene and rolling her eyes at her boyfriend, but didn't look like she was going to jump in.

Derek just sat on the sofa with his eyes on the TV completely ignoring them and Mason and Corey were sat on the staircase anxiously glancing from one person to another.

Liam hadn't really thought this through when he had invited Theo to Pack Night. He still wouldn't change his decision of course. But he probably should have given the rest of the pack a heads up before he showed up with Theo on their doorstep. He could practically hear Theo's scoff and remarks about his incompetence.

"He's not welcome here, so tell the manipulative bastard to get out of our sight. We already let him live" hissed Stiles.

Liam could feel the first strain on his patience. The sign of his control slowly starting to slip. He knew what the pack thought of Theo and he knew it was somewhat justified.

But the Theo that deserved all this hostility wasn't here. That Theo was gone. Now the boy that stood behind him was the one that saved his life and morality more times than he could count. The one that would give fake exhasperated sighs whenever Liam asked him for a lift to school after seeing the chimera driving past him in his truck every once in a while. The one that would look annoyed but tell him to get in anyway. The one that makes him feel calmer and more in control just by being there, and whenever he lost control would bring him back by provoking him even more. This Theo was the one that had somehow become a normal part of his life. A part that he, in some strange way, looked forward to seeing everyday.

He growled at Stiles which made Malia bare her teeth and Scott to take a small step forward.

"Liam..." Theo spoke up from behind him. He could see that Liam was beginning to get angry, but he wasn't quiet sure why. It's not like what they're all saying about him is wrong. He didn't know why Liam was going all out to defend him. He didn't dare hope that Liam saw him as a friend or cared about him. Why would he?

"He leaves. Or I'll kill him" Malia hissed.

"We're not going to kill anyone" Scott finally spoke up. Malia turned to him with an incredulous look.
