Phonecall

Summary- Scott calls Liam but a certain chimera picks up instead. Uh oh:)

This could also kind of be like an add-on to the previous one shot.

Theo startled awake to a persistent ringing sound. He groaned in annoyance at the stupid noise, while quickly grabbing the phone, before it woke the sleeping beta in his arms. He had meant to reject the call but had instead accidently hit the answer button, and was now completely regretting not checking the caller ID.

"Hello? Sorry if I woke you up so early, but I need to talk to you really quickly" said the voice on the other end of the line.

Theo stiffened at the familiar voice, slightly panicked and Liam shifted next to him as if sensing his discomfort.

"Liam?" The voice said again.

Theo took a deep breath. "Heyyy Scott" he said awkwardly, into the phone.

"Theo?" the alpha's shocked voice came through. "Why the fuck are you answering Liam's phone at 6 in the morning? Where's Liam? What did you do?" Each question sounded a little more suspicious than the last.

"Liam's fine. He's uhhh..." Theo trailed off. His mind was too groggy and clouded with Liam's scent to come up with a proper lie.

He could hear Scott pacing anxiously on the other end, and was about to answer when Liam chose that moment to wake up.

"Mmmm....T-theo?" He mumbled, voice heavy with sleep, eyes barely open. "Who you talkin' to?"

"Liam?" Scott yelled through the phone, making Theo roll his eyes.

"Why is Theo answering your phone? What the hell is going on here?" He asked sounding incredibly frustrated and confused.

Theo couldn't help but crack a smile, as he saw Liam rub his eyes sleepily and pout, glaring at the phone as if it had personally offended him. It was possibly the most adorable thing the chimera had ever seen. Liam squinted up at him and gave him a cute smile back.

"Is anyone going to answer me?" Scott asked again, evidently growing more impatient by the minute.

"What was it you wanted to say Scott?" Theo asked, changing the subject.

"I was going to inform Liam of the pack meeting that's happening today at 3.00, but-" Scott tried.

"Thanks Scott I'll tell him" Theo said quickly.

"You better be there too by the way Theo. We have some things to talk about" the alpha rushed out sternly.

"Uhh yeah sure. Bye Scott"

"Wait-" Scott was cut off by the chimera hanging up on him.

Liam rolled his eyes fondly at him as he threw the phone aside. Theo leaned in for a kiss, which turned into about a minute of making out. They broke apart when the need for air caught up with them, soft smiles on both of their faces as they held each other's gaze.

"Sooo pack meeting huh?" Theo asked casually. "There's gonna be some questions about this, little wolf. Scott didn't sound very happy"

"Yeah well he'll just have to deal with it" said Liam seriously, then broke into a grin.

"What?" Theo asked, looking at the beta and quirking a curious eyebrow.

"Nothing. I'm just really glad you're here Theo" Liam sighed contently.

"Me too little wolf. Me too" Theo smiled gently, tightening his arms around the beta, pulling him closer.

A/n- just a short and sweet one shot. This one is actually an idea from a friend, that I decided to turn into an add-on to the previous one shot.
