Chapter 26

Mohit's POV

I was hungry but was not in a mood to eat the food I ordered. I wanted the food made at home. I got up to see if there were any leftovers from yesterday.

But there was nothing. I thought of making a drink for myself but was not in a mood to drink as well. So opened the food I ordered again and took a bite. It was from my favourite restaurant and was as good as it usually was. But somehow I didn't want it.

Maybe I was feeling guilty about cheating my parents or not telling Robin that I was doing this. I had no idea how he would react.

I was still lost in my thoughts when the doorbell rang. Who would come at this time?

I opened the door and saw Maya, Viraj and the kids.

" Mamu !! " The kids hugged me before I could react. They always attack me the moment they see me.

I was so happy to see them.  

" Mamu, I love her... " Viren said.

" She is sho... shweet. " Myra said.

" Whom do you love, young man?? Some classmate?? " I asked him amusingly and they all rolled their eyes.

What did I say??

" She is too old to be my classmate. "

" Then introduce her to me. " I said. Myra touched her forehead and Viren rolled his eyes.

" What's wrong with these two?? " I asked Maya and Viraj but they smiled and shrugged.

" We are angry with you. " Viren said.

" Why?? What have I done?? "

" You didn't let her meet us earlier.  She is so sweet. I love her already. "

" Oh my God!!! Whom do you love?? I didn't let you meet her?? "

" We love Mami... She is... Lovely. You hid her? " Myra said glaring at me.

" Mami?? Oh !! You are talking about Srusti? " I was surprised as hell.

" Yeah... " They both said in unison.

" You love her ?? " I asked him and he nodded.

" The best girl in the world," he said looking as if he was mesmerized. He looked so cute.

" Is she ?? Seriously??  " I was trying to control my laughter.

" She is... Amazing... Awesome... Best no bestest girl... " he said glaring at me.

" Ok !!! Cooldown young man. " I said with a smile.

" Mamu, she made pancakes for us and let us cook with her ?? " Myra said.

" What?? You are too young for that. You might have been hurt. " I was shocked. How can she be so stupid?

" Oh, God !! She is not stupid. We just did the non-fire activities. We mixed the batter and she cooked pancakes for us. The best ones. Very tasty...  We poured chocolate syrup and honey over them. " Viren said.

" Oh, ok. "

" Mamu, she flipped that perfectly. "

" What?? Pancake ?? "

" Hmm... Amazing. Mom, can we go there tomorrow as well? Please...." Viren was smiling and asking.

" Beware Mohit !!!  You may have a competition in the family. " Viraj said with a wink. I shook my head.

" Hey, but what are you all doing here at this time?? "

" That's because of you and your would-be wife... " Maya said glaring at me.
