Srusti's POV

" What ?? What are you saying Myra?" Di asked.

" I wanted to know, when will they have a baby?? I want to feed ice cream to it. "

" Baby??  Who said they are having a baby? " Di asked and  I closed my eyes.

" Mamu said that they would have babies soon and he was practising to feed ice cream to the baby. I want to feed her ice cream."  She said and everyone was looking at us. Mohit looked very amused at di's shocked expression.

"  Babies ?? You are pregnant beta??? Babies mean... twins?? Wow!! We are so happy. Why didn't you tell us? When did you get to know?? Mohit, why didn't you tell us?? "  Maa was speaking without even listening.

" Maa..."

" You need to take care of yourself, which week is on?? But how do you know that you are carrying twins?? Did you go for sonography?? Why didn't you take me or Maya?? Listen you need to take a rest now. Maya, take an appointment with your gynaecologist. " She was getting super excited.

" Maa, please listen, I am not pregnant. " I said and her smile disappeared.

"  But Myra... "

" He joked about it as he was forcing me to eat it. Why don't you say something? " I looked at him. He was trying to hold his laughter by now and burst out laughing.

" Oh, mum... you are so sweet. I told her that we are not having kids just now but would have in future but she asked again. " He said with a naughty smile.

Maa got a bit disappointed but shook her head and smiled.  We all finished eating and since the kids wanted to be with me, I wanted to go a bit later.

Mohit said that he has to go to the office as he had some urgent work. He told me that we have an important event at around one in the afternoon,  I must reach the office by half-past twelve, I nodded.

He went to his office and I requested di to drop that date plan. I didn't want to hurt him. I told her how he announced our marriage to everyone. She was happy for us. 

She talked to Jiju but he was adamant. He said that I have to be ready by seven in the evening.

It was not right... But I could not help it. So I got ready and reached the studio.

The moment I entered the door, everyone shouted congratulations!!
Everyone was looking at me with a big smile and appreciation in their eyes.

What was going on??

" Congratulations?? What for?? " I asked. Mohit came near me snaked his arm around my waist and pecked on my cheek.  Manu also hugged me.

" We are so proud of you.  You are already a star... " Manu said.

What??

" A star?? What are you talking about?? "

" You are all over the internet. Your videos have been viewed, liked and downloaded by lots and lots of viewers, ma'am. I got a few calls for your interview and singing offers. In fact, someone is coming over from a leading music company to sign you as a main female playback singer for their new project. " Harry said.

" What videos?? " I asked.

" You are the new singing sensation on social media. " Manu said and signalled Harry. He switched on youtube on TV.

The songs which Robin had recorded were playing and there were so many hits. There were so many comments on social media.

Everyone in the studio was clapping and they applauded my singing. A lunch party was organised and everyone praised my voice and they kept asking me various things.

I was not very hungry but everyone insisted so much so I had food with them.

Just then Harry said that I have a meeting with a music company. They wanted me as their female playback singer.

I talked to them and asked them to give me some time. I was feeling bad remembering all the things that happened. I smiled politely and excused myself and went to nursery. I couldn't control my tears. I didn't want fame like this. The videos reminded me of that nasty man.

I was crying when I felt a hand on my back, I turned to see Manu standing there with so much concern.

" What happened, Srusti?? Why are you crying?? " She hugged me.

" I am feeling so bad, I trusted him. I should not have let him take these videos. They remind me of his betrayal.  I thought he was Mohit ji's best friend as he introduced himself. I created so many problems. How can Robin put them on the internet?? I don't want any fame or work because of him. I hate him. He joined hands with Gagan and tried to ruin my life. He even plotted against Mohit Ji and blackmailed him. Everyone had to suffer... I am so stupid, I should not have talked to him. He said he was the best friend of Mohit Ji and he wanted my help to make Mohit Ji happy. "  I said crying. She kept patting on my back to soothe me.

" No Srusti, don't think like that. First of all, don't feel bad for the purity of your heart. You are so naive and innocent, it is a rare thing. And see, everything and everyone is fine. So don't think about it. See everyone loves you. Mohit, Sahil, me, Maya di everyone.  And these videos have been sent on the internet by your loving and caring husband. With a tag, #mytalentedwife. He posted the videos on youtube and all his social networking sites. So all the name and fame you are earning is only because of your talent and your husband. He has every right to flaunt your talent. So, first of all, please come and sign the contract. Now, be happy and thank your husband in a special way for this surprise. This man has gone crazy for you.  " She said.

We saw Mohit standing there near the door.

" Ok, now excuse me... I have lots of work.  " Manu said and went out.

He came and pulled me in his arms. I burst into tears once again. " Don't cry my love, I am sorry for whatever happened. Come, sign your contract. " He said and I washed my face and we both went to meet the man. I signed the contract. Once the man left, Mohit caught my hand and took me to his studio apartments. He shut the doors and pulled me in his arms. I was hesitant at first but I wanted him so I hugged him

" I am extremely sorry, love.  I should have told you everything in the beginning. If only I had told you, all that would not have happened. None of this is your fault, I didn't know he was so cheap. He always posed to be very cultured, rich, famous and sophisticated. But I just got to know that he was faking everything. Will you please forgive me??"

" It was not your fault, you didn't know he would behave like that.  "

" It was my fault, I should not have involved such a sweet and naive girl like you in it. I would have killed him and myself if anything had happened to you that day. I would have killed him that day but I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you, not in a prison. I am sorry... Please forgive me. " 

" I already did... "

" What?? When?? "

" That day only. "

" Really?? So why did you go to Maya's place?"

" I was just so shocked that I could not reach all of a sudden. "

" You were shocked... But not angry with me?? "

" No, I was angry that you didn't trust me enough to tell me all that. "

" I am sorry... You seemed to be so innocent... Leave that I was a confirmed idiot.  But please give me a chance to mend everything."  He said and bent on one of his knees and took out a ring.
