he student council members entered the council room where they held meetings every now and then. The room was long and the walls were made of glass windows, they can see the outside but on the other side it was only a mirror. It was concerning for everyone to see no one sitting on the Student Council President's chair. They've been waiting for more than 15 minutes but he wasn't showing up. None of them knew that the President was in a critical state. Seeing that the President was nowhere to be found, the Vice President had to take over the meeting.
"We should do the DE event tomorrow." The S class Vice President started. He is a senior, a year above their President, and he was ranked Top 2 in Justice campus. No matter how well he handled his power, he could never beat the powerful Top 1 user in their school. The others mused, concerned about the sudden move of the date of the first activity.
"But Reaper, that's too sudden. The students haven't even prepared their skills yet. And so do we, we're part of it and we're not ready." The secretary spoke, her voice sounded concerning. She was a junior S class ranker and the famous 'Electrifying Mommy', a title she has given herself, while having 'Sora' as her real name.
"We have to preserve the students' powers. None of them even bothered to waste time at the field." The vice President replied, clenching his fist discreetly. He had to remain calm after receiving an ominous feeling touching his soul.
"But it hasn't been that long since the first day, I'm sure they are still able to control it." The treasurer spoke up. He was a senior A class ranker named Chess. "Besides, we don't have enough budget to rent the Pyramid yet."
The student body reporter stood quiet at the scene, he only had to write down their suggestions and conversations, then later on save it to provide the students enough information from the student council. Usually, they add it in the school newspapers, so they wouldn't have to waste time on assembling a campus meeting.
"Leave that to me. I'm sure our Vice President has something else to say, perhaps a more valid reason to his suggestion." Farm, the Student Council Historian, spoke. Finally out of his dozing zone. It was quite odd to hear that from their Vice President. Considering that everything was already settled last school year, a sudden change in the schedule sounded mysteriously strange.
Reaper took this as a chance to explain, but he had to keep the other students from freaking out. "I received an anonymous feeling last night. My power is connected to the darkness and that feeling...it was oddly different." Said the vice President, his eyes stuck to the table with a face of worry. The others let out a small gasp. Sora knew how the other's magic works. It had connection with the darkness, the darkness in which evil is contained. She knew it had to be done.
"Are we sure about this? We can just report this to the teachers." The historian interrupted.
"We can't. I doubt they'll take this seriously. If we're the only ones who can take this seriously, we help the others on our own. If only we can make up an excuse..." Sora's voice lowered at the end, rubbing her chin with her thumb and index finger.
"We can't just make a decision without the President. Can we atleast call him first? As much as I think he will only shout at us, he should know what we're up to." Farm was worried that they'd make a decision out of the President's preferences.
