After several hours in the sky, Zayn's private plane finally touches the tarmac of New York's airport.

"The airport is empty. I've never seen it this abandoned before," Camila says.

"I just got the nastiest chill down my spine," Dinah says.

"The news said that the city is under total quarantine. All commercial flights canceled," Lauren says.

"I'm just surprised no one's shot at us yet," Camila says.

"Give it time," Shawn says.

His phone chimes and he quickly checks it as he lets out a sigh of relief.

"It's Liam," Shawn smiles.

"I'm surprised he knows how to text," Camila giggles softly.

"It was a struggle but I managed to teach him how," Shawn says.

"Hey, give me his number, he's such a hottie," Dinah says.

"Children. Focus. What does he say now?" Lauren says.

"He says there's a rendezvous point where we should meet ASAP. It's not too far from here. He also added an emoji of a car and... An eggplant?" Shawn furrows his eyebrows.

Dinah laughs as she speaks, "I may have told him the eggplant emoji means 'urgent news'."

"I'll deal with that later. For now, let's get going to these coordinates," Shawn says.

"Wait," Zayn says

Everyone stops in their tracks as they turn back to face him.

"There's something I need to do first. Tell me where the rendezvous spot is and I'll meet you there," He says.

"What the hell is so important that you have to go off on your own?" Shawn questions.

"I have to go to the Malik Corp Offices. I... I have to destroy the labs," Zayn says.

"Zayn... Those labs represent decades of your work," Lauren says.

"I have to. There are things in there that Niklaus can't get his hands on. Experimental weapons. Unstable chemicals. Even the last vials of Niklaus's Reaper virus. He's dangerous enough as is. With the contents of my lab, he'll be unstoppable," Zayn explains.

"How do you know he hasn't already gotten to it?" Camila says.

"I don't but it's worth the risk," Zayn says.

"It's too dangerous for you to go by yourself," Shawn says.

"I can handle myself. You meet up with Liam and I'll catch up," Zayn says.

"Zayn... Wait..." Camila says. She walks up to the boy and pulls him into a tight hug. "Be safe," The brunette says once she pulled away.

"You too," Zayn says.

Later, the others walk around nervously as they wait for Zayn to arrive.

Somebody runs up to them and they all get ready for a fight but it's just Zayn.

"You scared us," Camila says.

"Sorry," Zayn says.

"How did it go?" Lauren asks.

"All taken care of," Zayn says.

Lauren squeezes his arm and lets go as the boy turns to Shawn.

"Where are the others?" Zayn asks.

Shawn looks around nervously, gripping his phone tighter. "Liam said they'd be here," Shawn says.

"You don't think..." Lauren trails off.
