"The city's still standing at least. But then again, that kind of destruction doesn't seem to be Katerina's style," Zayn says.

"Unlike some people," Dinah says.

Camila glances at Niklaus who stands with his arms crossed, staring at the city and saying nothing as he looks grim and purposeful.

"The sun just set but there's no one at the airfield. That's odd," Lauren speaks.

Camila realizes that the city does seem quieter than usual, despite the familiar sounds of traffic in the distance as the brunette shivers.

They are barely off the tarmac when a car comes screeching up and behind the wheel is...

"Liam!" Shawn says.

"Sir! Oh, my stars, it is so good to see you safe and unharmed," Liam smiles.

He hurries from the car and wraps Shawn in a hard hug as Shawn returns it, stunned.

"How... How did you know we'd be here?" Shawn asks.

"Oh, with the tracking application of course," Liam says.

"The... What?" Shawn asks.

"Miss Dinah set it up on my phone. It is supposed to allow me to see where she is at all times," Liam explains.

"Oh yeah. I did do that," Dinah smiles.

"You vanished for some time after Katerina's party and then you appeared an hour ago, here," Liam says.

"Good job, past Dinah. Nailing it," Dinah says.

Shawn sighs wearily then hugs Liam again. "I've missed you, Liam," Shawn says.

"I have missed you as well. All of you. Ah, Camila!" Liam says. He rushes to grab her hand, holding it between his own. "My deep and sincerest thank you for your help at the manor. Without you, I would have... Well..." Liam swallows hard.

Camila exhales and hugs him as surprised, Liam returns it.

"Of course I helped, Liam. You were in danger. I would do it again in a heartbeat," Camila says.

"Miss Camila, you are truly a marvel," Liam smiles. As he composes himself, he gestures to the car. "Please, let us get going. I will tell you more on the way to the safehouse. I-"

His words catch in his throat as he sees the last member of their group lurking in the shadows.

"Right. I don't believe we've met," Niklaus speaks.

"W-what is he doing here?" Liam asks.

"I ask myself the same thing," Niklaus says.

"He's helping us defeat Katerina," Lauren says.

"And then he's going to face justice for everything he's done," Shawn adds.

"Consider him a snake with his fangs removed," Dinah says.

"Oh, believe me, my fangs are very much intact," Niklaus scowls.

Liam stares at Niklaus uncertainly before turning to the car. "If... If you insist. Shall we?" Liam says.

They all pile in and Liam takes off, driving through the dark city streets.

"Hey, your driving is much better," Dinah says.

"Truly? I have been practicing quite a bit. You might say I am both fast and furious," Liam smiles.

"Your neither of those things. But big ups on a modern media reference," Dinah says.
