Newts pov

I was fuming how could she already be kissing another shank she had just got there. as I walked closer I could see that the boy had his hand over he mouth and she was crying as he kissed her.

'OI WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING' I shouted loudly the boy immediately moved off of her making her collapse to the floor 'WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER' I grabbed the boys top and pinned him to a tree. now I could see who it was it was as per a shucking builder probably a part of gallys posy. his face was full of fear he looked like his face had just been drained of any life this pathetic excuse of life could have 'I I didn't mean to I thought she wanted to I'm sorry Newt!'

I slammed his back against the tree again 'ILL KIILL YOU HOW DARE YOU TOUCH HER' I threw him onto the ground making him crawl toward the glade I grinned widely ' you think I'm done haha nice try' I pinned him down and threw punches at his face.

'ok now I'm going to say it again what did you do to her' I said with my teeth clenched and knuckles bloody from how much blood was oozing from his face

' IM SORRY IM SORRY!' he cried I could here footsteps coming.

'hey what's going on here' it was Theo he stepped forward to se y/n in a corner crying and me punching the clunk out of this dude 'hey hey Newt stop' i only just noticed that I never actually stopped punching him it was like I was fully fueled on anger and had no control.

I got off of him and shouted 'TOUCH HER AGAIN AND YOU WONT HAVE ANYONE TO SAVE YOU I WILL RIP YOUR THROAT OUT' the boy scrambled to his feet as Theo grabbed him and took him back to the glade.

I walked over to y/n who looked so helpless I knelt down beside her and she burst out crying 'hey hey its ok come here' i tightly grabbed her waist and lifted her into my lap 'I'm not going to let him hurt you I promise he will never touch you again or anyone for that matter' I whispered as I put a strand off hair behind her ear 'I'm sorry Newt I'm sorry' she cried into my shoulder

'hey you have nothing to be sorry about' we sat their for what felt like hours with her in my arms I felt guilty for not watching her every move I should have known better then to trust these shanks with a girl they cant do clunk no matter the situation.

we finally stood up me taking her hand and walking back to my room the bonfire would be soon and i didn't want everyone questioning her.
