I went through the day trying to get my mind off of newt. The first job of the day was building.
Gally tutored me for the first half of the trial he taught me how to reinforce walls around the glade. He wasn't as bad as everyone told me he was however the second half I kept messing up a Gally would not shut up about it!
Around lunch time I went to try my second job out cooking with Fry. We cooked burittos. I may have dropped a few peppers when cutting them but Fry was really pleased and said I might be able to help him in the kitchen for my job.
As the day went on so did my mind all I could think about was Newt. Avoiding him was only making matters work and with my trial day nearly concluding anxiety was pulsing through my veins.
After my bleak lunch Alone I tried out for the runners. Many eyes were watching me as I competed against minho. Many didn't believe in a girl being blue to cope outside the walls yet I wanted to prove them wrong.
' you know if newt finds out he's gonna have a fit' minho pointed out.
'does it matter he can't control me or what I do I am my own person' rolling my eyes at him I turned to walk to the kitchen.
Dinner was nearly served and I would rather be alone for the evening. After all it was a starry night.
