After Goku & Vegeta escape out of Majin Buu and frees Gohan, Piccolo, Goten & Trunks, Buu reverts into Kid Buu and begins to blow up the earth. Before the earth gets blown up, Gohan & Piccolo get sucked into a dimensional wormhole to another univers...
As Chapati begins the match, Elfman immediately darts over at Bacchus's direction to land a hit on him, but the S class mage quickly dodges and does the handstand drop kick, which connects to Elfman's ribs, sending him flying a little until he quickly recovers and continues to dart over at him to land another hit on Bacchus, which he once again dodges him. Elfman utilizes his beast arm iron bull to try to finally lands a hit on Bacchus, sending him a few inches away, right as when he tries to land another hit on the latter, the Quatro Cerberus mage dodges and runs from behind the take over mage to try to blindside him by punching him to the back. But then Elfman quickly turns around and grabs the punch and does a counterattack on him by going into beast soul weretiger, a speed type of takeover. But however Bacchus isn't sweating it with his attacks and dodges them. The S class mage then proceeds to attack Elfman while Erza notices that Bacchus hasn't gotten serious yet and hasn't taken a drink yet. He attacks Elfman once more, which reverts him back to his original form. However Elfman refuses to give up and tells Bacchus that if he wins, Quatro Cerberus will change their guild name to Quatro Puppy for the rest of the tournament. Which shocks the audience and half of the people begin to laugh of Elfman's bet to Bacchus who he agrees with this, and takes a drink from his gourd, saying he will finish the fight now.
Once Bacchus was done finished drinking, he went into his fighting stance being serious, while Elfman too became serious. Both of their auras began to show and it showed signs to Erza, Mirajane, Lisanna and the rest of Fairy Tail that Elfman and Bacchus were now in serious mode. The two begin to dart at each other's directions and clash fists, making shockwaves in the process.
Evergreen is impressed of Elfman's improvement of his training and like Mirajane, Lisanna and Piccolo, she's confident knowing that her man will win against Bacchus. And she even smiled when Elfman said to him that if he won, he'll name their guild Quatro Puppy for the rest of the tournament.
Piccolo is also impressed with Elfman going toe to toe with an S class mage.
As Elfman is holding on his own with Bacchus, they continue to clash fists and going all out with their might. Bacchus with incredible speed connects 7 hits on Elfman in an instant. However, the S class mage discovers that the white haired takeover mage had transformed into his beast soul: Lizardman, covering his body with sharp scales that damaged Bacchus's palms.

Much to the audience's shock, even team Fairy Tail A that Elfman has turned the tables and has the upper hand, as he taunts Bacchus to come at him with more effort. The latter decides to continue to do so and charges at him, continuing to attack him while Elfman just stands there enduring all of his attacks. And then the next, Elfman delivers a double fist to Bacchus, literally sends him flying across the arena. The S class mage was on the verge of getting back up but falls back down, and as a result, Elfman was declared the winner, giving 10 points to team Fairy Tail B. The crowd begins to cheer on. As Elfman goes back to his normal form, Bacchus says to him.
