Team Natsu meets Future Trunks for the first time

I'm sure some of you viewers out there are wondering about Future Trunks being added in this wonderful crossover fanfic of mine. My reasons for adding him in here is because of how the Goku Black/Zamasu arc ended in a worst way and Trunks's timeline was completely destroyed. Zamasu got his way with the zero mortal plan of his and wiped out what was left of the humanity and Goku, Vegeta and others got bailed out by a god, the Omni King Zeno. So as a result Trunks ended up having a horrible ending. And I figured I give him justice and he's my favorite next to Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta. So those of you who are fans of Future Trunks, this is indeed the chapter for you and worked my best to make it more interesting. In a way I'm making him great again just like Gohan & Piccolo. Without further ado enjoy this chapter.

After Lucy and Trunks defeated half of the Royal army, they see Natsu, Wendy, Carla, Happy, Gohan & Piccolo. They're both shocked to see them and This puts a smile and joyful tears on Trunks's face to see Gohan even if he isn't the future version of his best friend and sensei. This didn't go unnoticed by Team Natsu.

Trunks: Gohan, Piccolo. What are you two doing here?

Gohan: Trunks! *shocked tone* We were about to ask the same thing to you.

Piccolo: Did you come here in your time machine?

Trunks: Yes. I was originally planning to go to the present timeline and reside there permanently. But instead I ended up here. At first I didn't know what was the name of this city or country until one of the villagers told me the name of it, Edolas. And I've been here for over a few months.

Gohan: What happened to your future timeline? *concerned but a serious tone*

Scene change... while hiding out in the forest

The futuristic Saiyan hybrid took his time to answer and it got really serious and shocked not only Gohan and Piccolo, but Natsu, Wendy, Happy, Carla and both counterparts of Lucy as well as they're listening to Trunks's story of how he ended up here in Edolas and his future timeline is indeed wiped out by an evil god named Zamasu who got his way with his Zero Mortal Plan and immediately killed everyone of the survivors. Everything that Trunks worked hard for to protect the survivors was gone. This made Natsu and Happy mad that this happened to him. Wendy and both Lucys started tearing up. Carla after looking through Trunks's mind begin tearing up as well. Gohan & Piccolo couldn't believe this happened to Trunks.

Then Earthland Lucy was up next to explain her story on how she ended up here in Edolas. The Celestial mage reveals that it was both Horologium and Mystogan who saved her. It turns out that Horologium sensed the fluctuation in time-space, and went to protect her. This catches both Gohan, Piccolo and everyone else their attention as Lucy continues on about what Mystogan had told her and gave her a strange pill that'll make her utilize her magic power and her celestial keys before he sent her in Edolas. After Lucy got sent to Edolas she was hanging underneath a floating island and she takes a view at Edolas for the first time. Then Trunks appears and sees Lucy hanging from underneath an island and flies up and retrieves her safely, that's how she met the futuristic Saiyan hybrid. Edolas Lucy expresses her doubt in their abilities and how they would go against the kingdom, but a part of her believes that they're the only ones that can change the world.

Gohan & Piccolo explained every detail to Trunks of how the two ended up Earthland, joined Fairy Tail and decided to permanently call it home even in a different universe. This surprises the futuristic Saiyan hybrid and greets Natsu, Wendy, Happy and Carla. And as the Saiyan hybrid and the Namekian continue on with their story to Trunks of the previous events they've done since they came here and decided to call this universe their home. And Trunks couldn't believe it when he learns that they also became Wizard Saints recently and immediately congratulates them. He understood everything of what the two have done and senses that both of them sharpened their skills a bit.
