The Invasion of Seven dragons

After Future Lucy runs into Jellal, Ultear and Meredy, she explains her reasoning for coming here in the present timeline, is to prevent the invasion from happening. Which means that in Future Lucy's timeline when the dragons were roaming around Crocus and destroyed everything, including innocent lives were lost. Even half of the Fairy Tail guild members died in the hands of a dragon. The only survivors left were Lucy and Natsu. Jellal now realizes that he's been tailing the wrong person on the evening of the 3rd day, and it wasn't Future Lucy, but another individual entirely who carries the residue Magic resembling Zeref. Future Lucy also says that she used the eclipse gate in the future to come in the present, which means that the individual   followed her here in this timeline. She takes off to look for her present counterpart to warn her of the invasion, while the crime sorciere trio split up. Jellal goes to hunt down the individual from before, while Ultear and Meredy take off to look for Gohan, Piccolo and others.

Scene change in Mercurius with Natsu, Wendy, Gajeel and the rest of gang accompanying Arcadios, Yukino and Basil

Being taken to Mercurius, Arcadios informs the gang that the entire Grand Magic Games is merely a show in order for those involved in the eclipse plan to secretly extract the magic power and ki included needed for their operation. He also explains that the magic power stolen from the GMG participants will be used to power it. When the sun and the moon crossover from one another, the 12 golden keys of the zodiac will be used to open the gate. From there, the eclipse plan will be executed: using the eclipse gate, Arcadios and his team will travel back to 400 years in time, killing Zeref before he obtains immortality. When the group question how such a feat is even possible, Yukino explains that the celestial spirit world functions a completely different timeline to their own, and through using their time as a dimensional boundary, they will be able to access the past. Arcadios adds that they originally planned to use a pseudo magic to force the gate open, but now being in access of the 12 golden zodiac keys, can utilize what they consider to be the strongest option for a successful time jump. Asking for Lucy's assistance in the plan, Arcadios tells her that they will be opening the eclipse gate in two days time, on the 7th of July. Recognizing the date immediately is the exact same day that Natsu, Gajeel and Wendy's dragons disappeared 14 years ago.

The dragon slayer trio become hesitant at the idea of this whole operation, questioning the coincidence of the similar date. But before Lucy can reach a conclusion as to her participation, Future Lucy arrives in time to stop what they're doing.

The reactions from everyone including Arcadios are on point at what they're actually seeing. The only two who were shocked the most were Lucy and Imitatia to see the future counterpart of Lucy. Gohan, Piccolo and Princess Hisui arrive as well to meet with Arcadios, Yukino and Basil, and as they see Future Lucy, this immediately shocks Gohan, Piccolo, and even Hisui who explains and reveals to everyone that the person who she talked with wasn't Future Lucy, which shocks Arcadios, Yukino and Basil.

Lucy for the first time interacts with her future counterpart, and Natsu and others still can't believe what they're seeing in front of them as they listen to every word Future Lucy has to say and why the eclipse gate shouldn't be open.

Piccolo quickly learns after reading through Future Lucy's mind that she came here from the future to save this present timeline, this indeed reminds him and Gohan a long time ago back when they lived their own universe when Trunks came into the present timeline to warn them of the androids causing destruction in 3 years from now But here, it's twice as bad than what they both encountered.

After Future Lucy finishes explaining to her present counterpart, Imitatia, Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy, Gray, Juvia, Levy, Happy, Carla and Panther Lily, they all understand everything and they know what they need to do to prevent another mass of destruction from happening. But before they begin to have a plan, Gohan, Piccolo, Natsu, Gajeel, Wendy and even Basil all sense a dark presence close by, and a shadow emerges from the floor and a unexpected individual appears before the gang. The individual walks towards them and reveals himself as Rogue from the future. Seeing Gohan, Piccolo and the rest of the FT mages are shocked to see another person. Future Rogue begins telling his story of his sole purpose for coming here in the present timeline, is to target and eliminate someone in the present who closed the eclipse gate, preventing its cannon from being used to stop them. The gang attempts to dissuade him to no success as he's convinced that the person will close the gate no matter what. He reveals the person in question to be Lucy, as he immediately aims at present Lucy and attacks her catching everyone off guard with the exception of Future Lucy as she shoves her counterpart out of the way, saving her in the process. She takes Future Rogue's attack head on as she's impaled through the chest receiving a fatal wound, shocking everyone in the process. Wendy quickly goes to heal her, as Future Lucy tells her friends that she was glad to have seen them once again, even though she tells them not to be sad even if she wasn't in their timeline. A teared up Happy claims that she's still Lucy and is their friend all the time, Gohan completely agrees with Happy, Piccolo also agrees as he has his back turned beginning to tear up. Wendy was unable to heal her as she begins to tear up as much as Levy, Gray, Juvia and Gajeel also with his back turned started to tear up. Yukino also tears up and leans her head onto Basil as she's hugging him. Basil replies by hugging her back. Future Lucy wants to see her present counterpart's guild emblem. Taking her hand as she sees it. After she was done seeing Lucy's guild mark, Future Lucy dies soon after, much to everyone's sadness. Even though she's from a different timeline, Imitatia immediately screams out in agony as she's tearing up holding Future Lucy in her arms for a second.
