Fighting for what's right; The Dangerous Trio vs Jiemma

As Gohan, Piccolo, Lucy, Imitatia and Flare are the only survivors in the aftermath of Mard Geer's Alegria ability, they're quickly found by the Tartaros soldiers. Lucy utilizes her celestial whip to knock the enemies off from their balance from their own surfing boards as they catch up to her and start shooting beams at her. Lucy dodges two beams while Imitatia tossed her rose shield, deflecting the rest of the beams back at the soldiers, knocking them out in the process. Flare took on a few of them while extending her hair, grabbing them and slam dunked them into the wall so hard, incapacitating them in the process. Gohan and Piccolo took a minute to witness how the trio work together so well and they're both impressed of them, as they go and take on the remaining henchmen.

With Jackal now entering the fray, he first sees Lucy, Imitatia and Flare fighting the soldiers and then sees Gohan for the first time. Piccolo on the other hand who the latter recognizes from before when he was about to kill both Lahar and Doranbolt, and the Namekian interfered and saved them from him. Jackal chooses to deal with Piccolo later while he decides to go straight for Lucy. Piccolo quickly notices of what he's going to do and he gives Gohan a heads up about Jackal's curse ability. After he understood it all, Gohan takes time to prepare himself and to avoid the demon's explosive curse ability. Lucy sees Jackal coming towards her and takes him on herself by using her celestial whip, but unfortunately she forgot about his curse ability that once her celestial whip touched him, it immediately explodes, knocking her off balance and falling into the water. This didn't go unnoticed by Flare and Imitatia who still have their hands full, taking on the Tartaros soldiers, defeating them in the process. Jackal decides to torment her by telling her that Natsu, Happy and the rest are dead. Gohan and Piccolo see through his lie and senses Natsu, Erza and others that they're still alive. Lucy is also not believing him and isn't giving up. Jackal now tortures her with his curse ability, leading Flare and Imitatia to go help her. But they're interrupted by Lamy who gets in their way and takes them on. A angered Imitatia wasn't having it with her as she tries to land a hit on her, but the latter dodges and utilizes her slippery curse ability on her opponent. Flare also wasn't having it with Lamy as she uses her crimson hair to avoid her and at full speed, darts over to Jackal's direction to save Lucy from being tortured by him.

Lucy was very grateful for Flare coming in to save her. Flare takes a look at the bruises that Jackal gave to Lucy, and she is indeed livid at what he had done to her favorite blondie. The crimson haired mage's aura begins to show, and decides to give Jackal hell by pulverizing him. This immediately shocks Gohan and Piccolo as they witness Flare's true power. Jackal is just shocked at what Flare had just did to him and slowly gets back up and is now angry and says the cold words.

Jackal: You redhead bitch! I'll make you suffer!

Flare is up to her limit and can't go on anymore. Her pulverizing Jackal was all she needed to do for the sake of Lucy. Not to mention she loves her favorite blondie so much and it would leave a real bad taste in her mouth if anything happened to Lucy.

Jackal, with some bit of strength in him left is about to aim at Flare and is about to straight out kill her by impaling her from behind, but is immediately stopped by Piccolo who grabs him by the arm, gut punches him and tosses him up in the air and does the explosive breath cannon on him. Flare and Lucy wonder if Jackal is gone, but unfortunately according to Gohan, who senses that the Tartaros demon is still alive. And it's revealed that Lamy saved Jackal in a nick of time before Piccolo's mouth blast could hit him. Also Lamy defeated Imitatia, which shocks Lucy and Flare. Lucy grabs out three celestial keys and immediately summons Loke, Virgo and Aquarius. And due to multiple summons, she collapses, leading Flare to catch her with her crimson hair ability. Both Lucy and Flare have reached to their limits and Imitatia is down for the count, which leaves Gohan, Piccolo and the 3 celestial spirits Loke, Virgo and Aquarius to clean house with the Tartaros soldiers.
