As Mirajane and Erza rest by a river, the white haired barmaid states that Jellal is a potential target for Tartaros as well as Ultear, and wonders if it's really alright with her to defend the former chairman instead. The armored Titania says that even she doesn't know where he is, moreover, he doesn't need her to protect him. The two agree that guarding the former chairman is their top priority, for the fate of the magic world lies within him. Erza also says that she's perfectly fine with Gohan going over to protect Ultear and isn't entirely bothered by it whatsoever. Mirajane understands completely and she also got word from Piccolo that he's temporarily being a bodyguard for Lahar and Doranbolt until the whole ordeal with Tartaros is over. Erza gives out a small smile that the two love talking about Gohan and Piccolo, and they save their important conversation for later as they arrive at their rendezvous point, the two S-class mages are greeted by none other than ex-chairman Crawford. The man also offers them tea which the women accept. He asks how did the FT mages managed to get his address, which Erza and Mirajane apologize for, with the latter stating that they used certain ways for it as a emergency. Crawford then remembers seeing her boyfriend (whom he's referring to Gohan) and Piccolo on a interrogation of the Lullaby incident. Which throws Erza off a little that he was there on the day Gohan and Piccolo got arrested. And Mirajane politely interrupts and quickly notices that their intent and topic is being shrugged off.

Crawford expresses both his sadness and gratitude, due to what happened to his former co-workers and the effort of Fairy Tail in defending justice, respectively. Erza states that in order to stop Tartaros, they need to destroy face first; Mirajane on the other hand asks him where the pulse bomb is being stashed at. But unfortunately much to both S-class mages's shock, Crawford says even he doesn't know the answer to their question, and that he has nothing to hide. Erza begins to wonder how did Tartaros know each of the former council members's address and got the information regarding such matter, but the former chairman claims to be unaware about it as well. Afterwards, Mirajane asks about the future three people who are protecting face with Magic. Unfortunately for the two, Crawford claims even he doesn't know of such, because Face is a confidential weapon, and even those who are the protecting the seal are unaware of their duties.

Suddenly both Erza and Mirajane sense the arrival of the enemies approaching their location. After a short while, several of Tartaros henchmen invade Crawford's house. Just as they were about to be attacked, Mirajane goes into her Satan Soul form and Erza requips into her Black Wing armor in order to counter their opponents, sending their enemies outside, claiming they won't let a single hand on the former chairman. The Titania and the Demon smirk at each other and realize that this is actually their their first time fighting alongside each other and they should do this often. Erza took on half of the henchmen while Mirajane took the other half of them and commenced battle.

Scene change with Natsu, Lucy, Wendy, Happy, Carla, Flare & Imitatia

Back to Michello's location after Natsu is fully healed, he asks Michello if the former chairman's location. After the former councilman gives him the address he and Happy take off to the exact location, much to Lucy and Wendy's shock. Both Imitatia and Flare were a bit unfazed with Natsu and Happy taking off and are beginning to learn more of what goes on in the Fire Dragon Slayer's mind especially whenever he takes off on his own.

Scene change back to Erza and Mirajane

After defeating the Tartaros henchmen, Erza and Mirajane contemplate on something weird, noticing the absurdity of having regular henchmen go after a very important person like the former chairman.

While at the same time, Natsu and Happy also discuss about their suspicions about Crawford being involved with Tartaros.

Mirajane and Erza both begin to suddenly stagger and collapse to the ground. Using a lacrima, Crawford contacts Kyoka, informing her about the success of their plan. Afterwards, Kyoka orders him to return to headquarters with an unconscious Erza and Mirajane along.
