"Why did I have to do a commission that involves making soup for you." She spat, with a tick mark. Clearly not very happy with the outcome.

"I'm far too busy with my research, and cannot make any for myself." Albedo turned the other way to hide another smirk of his, from her cold eyes.

'I bet he's just lazy.' Y/N thought in disbelief. Then sighing, she put her apron on. It was her apron she would wear back in Snezhnaya, cooking for the other harbingers sometimes. She spun the knife in her hand to adjust her grip. And upon seeing the movement, Albedo quirked an eyebrow up.

Y/N turned her head to Albedo, slightly glaring cold ice daggers into his head, and felt the shivers of her cold stare. But he payed no mind to the feeling.

"Get moving." She grumbled at him. She just didn't like him watching her cook while he was 'too busy' to make any for himself.

"Your whole demeanor changed. Why is that?"

"I was only being 'friendly', because Klee was there. Same goes for you, no? You've got ulterior motives calling me specifically, to come and help you out." She diligently chopped the vegetables of the soup she was making, and slid them into the pot making making a few of the boiled water fly into the air.

'She's sharp.' Albedo's smirk only grew slightly wider. More interested. Like a test subject, or experiment. But in this case it is because she is 'different', and out of the ordinary. Once she's interested in something, he's extremely interested and focused.

She continued onto her cooking. And Albedo decided to take the chance and get a few of his work done.

It was silent. A preferable silence.

It felt... eerie. In a way. That would be indescribable.

Y/N preferred it that way. She was far too annoyed to talk anyways.

Albedo wanted to know a few more things of the girl. Mainly why he had called her over to try and get a conversation going. And possibly to catch few specific actions here and there, to try and settle his urge to go on and ask multiple questions.

Something that specifically piqued his interest, was most certainly the fact that she has many powers channeling through her own body that would be thought as inhuman. Or impossible. Because people are only bound to have one vision. And that wouldn't produce a large amount of power.

Visions are granted directly to people by the archons, who deem reliable, and willing to protect and fight. Or mainly, just that fits their criteria.

She had all seven.

Seven.

The number kept repeating in his head. He hadn't thought of visions to arouse his curiosity as he only thought of it as useful for experiments, and nothing more.

The only things that filled the room, was the boiling water. And her making things.

Albedo decided to ask something, but was drowned out by the door being slammed open. He turned his gaze to the door with his eyebrows knit together in vexation.

"Mr. Albedo!" A girl with teal hair and round glasses burst through the door. "Oh. You had a guest? I- I apologize for my brash actions."

"No, it's fine." Albedo curtly answered, peering another glance at the other girl that was busy focusing on the profound soup she was requested of making.

He turned back around slowly, questioning the teal haired girl.

"What is it Sucrose?" Albedo called out.
