"I don't recall calling upon you, I bluntly said.
Daki circled around me as I kept walking forward. "Aw, but Master, you haven't called for me at all recently, and I got scared. You used to come so often and tell me how pretty I was." Daki pouted.
"I have no business with you right now Daki. Move." I glared at her.
Despite not wanting to, she moved away anyway, but that didn't stop her from running her mouth. "It must be that boy you've been keeping." Daki scowled.
I stop dead in my tracks. "What?"
"That boy that you've been keeping. The one that killed lower moon 5."
"And how did you find out about this?" I turned toward Daki.
"Word spreads fast when it comes to you Master, and that boy has been a hot topic lately."
"Hot topic?"
"Some even say he'd be delicious to eat, but to me, he's garbage. Those looks are hideous. How is one born so ugly? Did he get into an accident or was he just naturally-"
"Daki. are you saying that my Tanjiro isn't pretty? Do you think he is not lovely?" I question intimidatingly.
"Er- that's not what I meant Master! I was merely stating that nobody is as pretty as you!" Daki quickly tried to cover up.
Still quite annoyed, I picked up the pace I was walking at, and said, "choose your words carefully if you don't want to end up dead like lower moon 5."
Daki flinched. "What about me Master! I'm your upper moon 6! He's but a mere human!"
"My toys belong to me Daki. If you try and take even one of them, I'll rip you apart. Got it?"
Daki eventually gave in, reluctantly bowing before me. "Yes, Master."
"Good. Now shoo! You ruined my mood, and now I'm upset." I dismissed Daki.
"Yes." Daki left in a hurry. I might just have to kill her too.
