Depart - Tanjiro

Hi guys! I just failed a test 💀(got a 47%) & I'm not sure how to confront my parents. Any ideas? Also, happy Easter to those who do celebrate it!!! 🐣🐰

I was packing my stuff for my leave to this military, or whatever camp when I peeked outside of the window and saw Tsukahiro hugging Muzan. It was a blood-boiling moment and made me as mad as Tsukahiro was when Master kissed me.

As I walked outside with all my belongings, Muzan quickly came up to me with a slightly sad smile upon his face, which disappeared within a second. "Do you have your things packed Tanjiro?"

I nodded. "I have left all unnecessary items in the house. I will be back in two years." I bowed.

Muzan nodded. "Yes. Same to you." For a second, Muzan hesitated before saying, "Mizuki will miss you."

Mizuki came running out with crocodile tears running down her face and hugged me. "Why do you have to go! I love you so much! Was Mizuki not enough? She did her best though!"

I hugged Mitsuki back. "It has nothing to do with that. I merely wish to become stronger, and protect you at your side." Mizuki pulled her face away from the crook of my neck and looked at me square in the eyes with her big, puppy dog eyes. "Once I get back, I'll spend as much time as possible with you. We'll do whatever you want."

Mizuki rubbed the tears off her face and stuck out her pinky. "Pinky promise?"

I nodded. "Pinky promise."

As Mitsuki and I hugged once more, I noticed Tsukahiro at the house door smirking at me with a large, satisfied grin. Mizuki and I hugged a few minutes longer till the bus honked at us as a sign to get moving. We said our final goodbyes as I walked into the bus, which was full of menacing delinquents. As the bus started moving, Mizuki ran beside the bus, as best she could, and tried to keep up with the speed of the bus, but fell, and started crying. Muzan and Tsukahiro then ran up to her and comforted her. As I got comfortable in my seat, a boy with a bright red mohawk came up to me.

"Kick it, kid. This is my seat now."

"Sorry." I got up and moved. This was going to be a tough two years.
