Guys! I'm back, and I have no excuse as to why I haven't posted in so long, and I'm very sorry! I didn't feel the motivation at first, but then I completely forgot I was writing a story, and then I got lazy! I'm sorry.

While bringing Tanjiro back home, I felt a volcano of anger, and maybe even a hint of jealousy, silently erupt inside me. The thought of Tanjiro being close to someone other than me made my blood boil. I am the demon king, and I am able to achieve anything and monopolize my prey.

"Master? Why did you follow me? I with my friends, so you don't have to worry." I stooped in my tracks and stared at Tanjiro's cartoon-like eyes, which were a warm crimson color, which was filled with confusion, and shock. I too was also filled with shock. how could not have known who they were? The demon slayers Tanjiro was around with for more than a year?

"Tanjiro, you do know who those people were, right?" I lifted my brows.

Tanjiro lowered his head. "They were the only friends I met while away at my training camp."

My brows flew up my face. He really doesn't remember those people! My face slowly shifted into a grin, and I felt a wave of relief wash over me.

Once we arrived home, I sent Tanjiro to his room to play with Douma, the closest demon to Tanjiro, and Tsukahiro bubbled with anger at the news of Tanjiro's return.

"Honey? Why is Tanjiro home? You promised tonight would be our night." My wife forced a smile.

I smiled right back at her with a menace in my voice. "Really? I don't remember, it seems your words are not worth remembering nowadays."

Tsukahiro's face turned a deep, cherry red, as she yelled, "I love you! I don't want you to get hurt over a boy who doesn't even know the meaning of love! he'll only hurt you! Please! I love you!"

"Yes. Yes I know you do, because you married me for that exact reason, however, it seems I do not feel the same about you, so you better watch your tone next time you speak of my Tanjiro."  snapped back, with sharpness in the way I spoke.

Tsukahiro's face quickly became a deep, cherry red with shock, and sadness from my words as she stormed down the halls, and muttered, "you weren't like this before he came along."
