ANNABETH SMITH
"looks like we have a show, the names annabeth, annabeth smith.")(
the NEXT day we all hear a frantic knock on the door. we all form in the hallway after hearing it, staying quiet as possible.
timothée puts his ring index finger against his lips, telling us to stay quiet. "riley go hide where i told you to." he whispered in her ear, he kept his gun beside him. riley walks into the room to hide.
"hello!" we all hear banging against the wooden door, it was a feminine voice. very soft but raspy.
timothée walks downstairs as we all watched, i kept my hand locked with marcus. he then opens the door and we see a girl.
she was tall and slender, her hair was light brown. blue eyes and wore all black, she had nothing but a backpack with her. her face was pretty, almost doll like. her hair gleams in the sunlight.
"one hand up." timothée demanded.
i never quite understood why he always told people to put one hand up, he never got to telling me neither. but i wanted to know.
the girl places one hand up, then looking up at all of us by the staircase.
"looks like we have a show, the names annabeth, annabeth smith." she has a soft country girl accent.
i walk down the steps, next to timothée skeptical of her lies, almost unimpressed about how unrealistic this was.
"how'd you get here?" i say suspiciously.
"followed the tracks." her face filled with uncertainty on the question i asked.
"and you have exactly no weapons—no knife with you. but somehow to manage to come here without a scratch on your body?" i asked.
she puts her hair behind her ears. "i really don't know what y'all are talking about."
"i made it with just walking, walked down south landed here.""why don't you come on in annabeth!" charlie webb's smiled, welcoming her inside. as we all looked at her walk.
"okay come out riley!" timothée says, as she wonders back downstairs, hugging my side as i run my hands through her hair.
libby, marcus, and charlie go to talk to the new girls, annabeth. timothée flees upstairs before my eyes can catch him, i was curious to see why he left so frantically.
"i have a question." i say, i get on one knee to talk to riley. "did you ever get the candy? timothée said he got some for you." i whispered.
"no." she gives me an odd look.
i began to become concern on why he forgot to give it to her. the inside of his backpack, while he walked step by step sounded like 'rocks in a bag'
