Chapter 17

It has been a week already since your family was kidnapped by Yoongi. 

You looked at the empty house. Somehow, it only made the void feeling in your heart worse. Yoongi definitely crossed the line so you made sure to prepare in case you came face to face with him when you rescue your family which isn't really impossible. 

Right now, you were following the direction that the wind was giving you. You were on your way to saving your family. 

"You better prepare yourself, Yoongi." You mumbled with a clenched fist as you continued to follow the wind.

Arriving at what seems like an abandoned building or something like that, you took a deep breath before entering. Although the building seemed empty and harmless, there was something telling you that it wasn't. But then again, a question kept lingering in your mind as you continued to walk further.

Why would they be here?

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my favorite shard!" A high-pitched voice chirped, making you flinch. Looking in the direction where you heard the voice, you came face to face with none other than the goddess. She had this sick smile that you couldn't explain.

"Where are they?" You asked, voice firm. She only smiled at you before shrugging.

"I don't really want to be involved with you and Yoongi's fight. It's not like I can gain anything from it but...I can help you if you want?" 

You narrowed your eyes at her.

Why would she offer help?

"Sorry, I'm not dumb enough to accept your offer. Now, if you excuse me, I have a family to save." 

"Well then, good luck with that. Oh, and please tell Yoongi that I've had enough and I'll get going. I still have a sister to deal with," she said, waving before walking out as if nothing happened. 

Well, nothing really happened, the way she acted was just weird that it somehow gave you goosebumps. You knew she was planning something, and whatever it is, you made sure to be ready for it.

Shaking off the thoughts, you took a deep breath before entering further again. You found yourself in a dark hallway that leads to two more hallways. You checked the hallway to the right to find many rooms in it. You went to check every room one by one and found nothing, so you checked the other hallway. It was the same, there were many rooms in it and you took your time to check them. 

Before you knew it, you were already standing in front of a cell, except, the bar that was supposed to prevent the prisoner from getting out was replaced by a thunder-looking thing that can kill anyone who tries to touch it. Behind them were your friends, Ahra, Jennie, Taehyung, and Jungkook.

"Jiyeon, is that you?" Jungkook mumbled.  You nodded instantly before looking around the room.

"What are you guys doing here?" You whispered. You weren't expecting them to be there, and now, you were thinking that maybe Yoongi was also planning to get your parents, your brother, and the boys' parents. You were glad that you already placed a protective shield around your family that even Yoongi wouldn't be able to break since Mother Nature helped you create it.

"W-We don't know too and all I know is that Yoongi's angry. He's angry t-that I helped you guys. Save us, Jiyeon, please. I'm genuinely scared of what my brother can do. I don't even know him anymore." Jennie pleaded as her eyes got watery. 

"Don't worry, I'll protect you guys. Please, just stay still." You said, looking around and thinking at the same time. Looking at the dangerous thunder-looking thingy again, you heaved a sigh. There was no way you could break that. Your eyes averted to the walls of the cell.
