Chapter 20

You and the boys sat on the couch of the house, somehow feeling unfamiliar and alien in your own home. In front of you stood the goddess a.k.a. Mother Nature who was still treating your wounds using the water element. She already finished healing the boys. After a while, she moved away from you, indicating that she was done. She stood beside her sister, the destructive goddess. The second goddess continued to smirk at you and the boys.

"I know you all have a lot of question, so go on." Mother Nature spoke, making Myungjun open his mouth quickly.

"Why did you take away our powers, and why did you 'locked' us up there in the building with Yoongi, knowing that there's a big possibility of us getting killed there?" Myungjun asked in a fast manner. The goddesses looked at each other before chuckling together like normal siblings would do.

I thought they hated each other?

Their actions clearly confused all of you, but you all just continued to wait for the goddess' answers.

"I took away your powers because you guys won't need them anymore, and your responsibilities to the world are done. And no, I know that Yoongi won't be able to kill you all." Mother Nature said.

"How?" 

"I saw it. I saw Yoongi's death. I have the ability to foresee deaths and destructions. It's one of my responsibilities as the Yin." Destruction said, looking at her sister who gave her the same look.

"That's right, and as the Yang, I always make sure that the things she sees happen, that's also one of my responsibilities as the Yang since I can't foresee or see what she can see. We work together, always." Mother Nature smiled softly.

"Wait, I'm confused. Aren't you guys like enemies?" Jinwoo asked. The goddess laughed upon hearing his statement.

"We aren't enemies, we never were." Mother Nature responded.

"B-But what about the fight in the park last time?" Bin stammered.

"Ah, that? That was an act, of course! You see, not all that you learned from your school or whatever you call that are true. Most of them are fabricated. The story that everyone heard about us isn't true. There's no such thing as a crystal-like object that gives its owner great power or even shards that became flowers when they landed on the ground. We are powerful ourselves, and everything ceased to exist if one of us is unstable which is impossible too. We've been 'alive' together ever since the word existed." Destruction replied.

"So does that mean you don't kill people for fun?" Sanha asked again, making Destruction laugh loudly.

"No, why would I do that? Do you really think I would enjoy killing my own creations, of course not! My sister and I did a lot of work and even had a hard time to create everything here in the world, including you elementals or humans or whatever you call yourselves." She responded.

"Oh...then how did we became the 'Great 7' and why does Yoongi always have to be the 'bad guy'?" Dongmin asked.

"The seven of you were made specifically with a purpose. We created you guys to save the world at all times, thus, the seven of you will always be born once my sister foresees the evil or the destruction that will come. It will always be the seven of you. However, we didn't really plan that you, Jiyeon, will end up being their soulmate. It's not our responsibility to match and pair humans. That would be the goddess of love's work. And, no, Yoongi wouldn't always be the evil, it was just a coincidence. We will never let one of our creations suffer 'forever'." The Yang answered.

"Ok, new question, soulmates? You mean everyone has a soulmate or soulmates?!" You exclaimed.

"Well, yes. It's just that we can't control our creations that much so it wouldn't be our fault that many of your kind didn't end up with their soulmate or soulmates. Apparently, the goddess of love had always been guiding you all but many of you were, uh, what's that word again? Ah, stupid and naive." Destruction responded, chuckling at the last part.

"Last question, how did we have powers if they aren't from the' crystal'? And why does it seem like only Mother Nature had our abilities? Don't you guys share that ability as the most powerful creators?" Minhyuk asked.

"Your powers are from my sister, and only from her. It's not one of my abilities. My abilities are just to foresee, create, and cause destruction." Destruction replied, making her sister nodded.

"And on the other hand, my abilities are just to control the elements, create, and make sure that destruction will always happen. Our abilities are almost identical. Both of us create and destruct, but that's the point. We are both equally powerful. It's just that we both have our own thing to focus on. Mine would be nature while hers would be death and destruction." Mother Nature added.

There was a very long silence after Mother Nature's statement.

"Well, looks like our business here is finish now." Destruction said, smiling at her sister to which her sister responded with a smile as well.

"We'll get going now. You guys know the rules, don't tell anyone anything about this." Mother Nature said.

"Yes, of course. Good bye to the both of you." You said, smiling slightly. You'll miss them for sure.

"Oh, and Jiyeon, one more thing." Mother Nature said as she approached you. You didn't have time to ask her. She put her hand on your head and a blinding light came from her hands. After a few minutes, she moved away from you. Immediately, you looked down at your lap, only to see yourself in your normal clothes.

"I just took your abilities away." The goddess smiled.

Oh, right, I almost  forgot about that." You smiled sheepishly.

"We'll be going for real now. Good bye." Destruction said, along with her sister.

"Bye!"

Both of the goddesses smiled and waved at you and the boys before disappearing completely.

"Eomma! Eomma! Baejin oppa's eating my cookies!" Sunhee yelled. 

The kids just arrived a few hours ago. Your parents dropped them by.

"Baejin! What did I told you about eating Sunhee's cookies?" You asked once you reached the kitchen.

"To never eat them since I'm the older brother and that you'll make more if I ask more," Baejin responded looking down at his hands. 

"It's ok. Now, off you guys go." You sighed as you ruffled his hair. 

Both of the kids ran upstairs with their other siblings and their fathers. You stayed to a bit to clean up and make sure that everything is locked.

Reaching your bedroom, you were surprised to see your kids there. 

"We're going to sleep here for tonight, eomma." Jinki announced, making his fathers chuckle.

"Sure," you chuckled. 

"Stay here, we're going to bring more mattresses, pillows, and blankets." Myungjun said.

"I wanna go with you all, appa!" Donghyun and Minhyun yelled, running to follow their fathers.

"Wait, I wanna help too!" Myungjin yelled as he followed the others.

You, Jinki, Baejin, Suho, and Sunhee waited in the room. Thereafter, the boys came with the children and set up everything. After a few more minutes, everyone was finally settled. The kids were going to sleep on the floor while you and the boys slept on the bed.

"Good night, eomma and appas!" The kids yelled.

"Good night!"
