Fleur's point of view
"Dad," I whispered, "Are you sure?"
I really didn't want him coming outside to kill the walkers with us, I didn't want to offend him in any way of course but he was... older now."I know what your thinking," Hershel- my dad said,
"That because I have a few wrinkles and grey hair I can't protect myself."
I looked at the floor,
"But your wrong Fleur, this apocalypse has made me stronger than ever and I will help you."
I nodded understandably."Okay," Rick announced, "Everyone grab a pole and follow me."
Rick stood by the gate and held his hand to the lock,
"Is everyone 100% ready?" he asked and was returned by nods. Then Carl looked over at me, he looked really worried, really genuinely worried. I sighed, he shouldn't be worried, I was fine.
I walked to stand next to him and I held his hand tightly. Then on the count of three the door opened with a clang.
Immediately the walkers burst in and one grabbed onto Rick. Tom stabbed it straight through the skull and Rick gave a thankful look.
Me and Carl stayed together not leaving each-other for a second, he stood in front of me protectively which I was quite thankful for because it was scarier than I thought.
On all sides bodies were falling, and I couldn't spot anyone from our group except Carl. We were utterly surrounded."Fleur duck!" Carl said, swinging his pole and stabbing a walker that was inches away from biting into my neck.
"Oh my fucking god," I breathed, "Thank you."Time was going so fast, it was like everything was in time lapse. It was pretty much every second that one of us would stab another walker. And it was almost every second that we would have a very near experience with death.
"They aren't getting any less," Carl said worryingly,
"I know," I agreed."
We were both getting worn out and running out of energy. And that's when I fell to the ground.Everything was black, just black.
I could hear Carl yelling help and I could hear more growling followed by the sound of walkers falling the the ground around me.
Then I couldn't even hear.
What had happened?
Was I shot? Was I bit? God if I was bit-
Then I woke up, I was in cell block one.
It was just Carl there,
"Fleur thank god," he said as relief flushed across his face, I smiled,
"Is it over?" I asked and he widened his eyes,
"No, it's not over, it's chaos out there!" he panicked, "I couldn't find anyone, I didn't see my mum, my dad, your dad, Maggie." a tear rolled down his cheek."Katelyn, Isla, Tom, Andy?" I asked and he shook his head, "They can't all be dead!" I cried but his face said something different.
"We need to get back out there, If they are alive then they will need our help." I stood up, I felt dizzy like I had been hit on the head.
"What happened to me," I had forgotten to even ask,
"A walker fell on top of you, he was really big and you blacked out."I nodded, thank god it wasn't something worse.
Then we prepared ourselves and left cell block to begin fighting again.
Blood was everywhere. Then my heart lifted, because behind a swarm of walkers I saw Maggie and Lori side by side.
"CARL ITS YOUR MUM AND MAGGIE!" I yelled and his eyes lit up,
We both ran towards the two.Lori looked terrible, she was pale and sweating terribly,
"What's wrong with her?" Carl asked Maggie,
"Carl the baby is coming." Maggie told him and she rubbed Lori's back.
